He moved to Rochester in 2006 when his partner decided to pursue a career change and enrolled as a student in the School of American Arts and Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
He is a native Minnesotan and a graduate of St Cloud State University with a program focus on Inter-cultural Communications and adult education. Since 1993 Fearing has been providing consultation and training to public and private sector organizations around the country.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Excellent presentation.
I watch this in 2020. Thank you for this, as it gave me goosebumps. I have one word though in answer to your last statement: Trump. Let's hope Americans don't re-elect him as president.
Give this to your 80s 50s 20s friends to watch the ark is right on target!
Thank you for your kind comments, and it goes without saying, I also encourage sharing!
It certainly is an arc of great pain and struggle.
UpandOut,, yes, the struggle/fight has been painful at times, but progress has happened because people have been willing to be up an out!
