@@Ranzord95 i think it was more the presentation of the clown standing there when you turn around and the speed of it. It also doesnt help that the clown mask has an identifiable face (two holes for eyes, nose, mouth) and my brain trying to figure out wtf that is. Uncanny valley + jumpscare techniques work good on me, I guess.
I was mildly ready for the character to come shoot you after you woke up, but seeing yourself stand there in your closet just made me terrified for no reason i can pinpoint
The fact there was no music stinger helped a lot actually. I think this is probably one of the best pupcombo games despite it being not really a horror game

@@Chuckfng Joel on the extreme side just spent most of his time breaking the game and letting chat convince him that Puppetcombo just makes mediocre games. While i don't exactly disagree, i think Puppetcombo just makes games more for his supporters than for those new players delving in the games.
This game is pretty much Vinny's life some poor guy who has to do horrible shit everynight just to entertain the terrifying demon mouth known as chat

So the title should actually be "Feed Me, Billy", with a comma, as in: guy called Billy, feed me. Which is disappointing because the premise: guy who is not Billy, feed me someone called Billy, I will only be satiated by eating Billy, whoever Billy is, maybe theres more than one Billy that you need to feed me. Sounds much more interesting to me

Does it have to be human?
I get the point of the game is to be disturbing and stuff like that, which it is. But I don't see the point of this game, is there a message? Or is it just killer kills people? Billy gets letters about a person knowing what he does but the game does nothing with it. Unless the part where you get shot is after the events of the game and Billy is killed? I don't get it.
My take is that Billy is the one leaving notes to himself, it's his subconscious showing remorse and wanting to stop him, I think this is the case because of the 'dream' where a dude with the same outfit and mask comes and kills Billy as he's waking up and the other second long apparition.

I'm not sure how you miss the point that the MC is being forced to feed the demon thing, going along with what the first reply said. That part isn't symbolism, that's the horror aspect.
@@KawaiiBabyTragon I know that he was forced to feed the monster, what didn't make sense to me was the ending and point of the game, it just felt like Billy was killing people and feeding the monster for no reasson besides that he was forced to.

Puppet Combo Games have really increased in quality over their games. Babysitter, Nun and Powerdrill were all rough as fuck, but Riverside Incident and this game are well done. Focus on atmosphere, using low-poly to their advantage to go to uncanny valley, going for the disturbing, cutting down on the jumpscares, and just builds on the tension. Not saying these games are 5/5, but I can see where they're heading and its pretty cool. That crawl fucked me up.
I have no business to go into a whole paragraph why you think like this and more power to you if you can see more merit to enjoying these games but i have one or few questions that you probably have an answer for;
Lets start with the stability of the game, sure doesn't take a miracle to glitch/softlock/crash these games
The other question is the what seems to be so unique to use the same style and design for the 80's VCR effects over and over but all the game formulas follow the same concept of: "killer", run away from "killer", win condition is neutralizing the "killer". To me it seems the developer hopes to just shit out games with the same engine, the same style over and over until everyone supporting him just get grown and tired of it. Kudos for this game as you are "the killer" here, but your engine and art direction have not changed one bit.
Most of these games have pretty "passable" plot. Glass staircase was slightly more longer form and there seemed to be more emphasis put on character development and environment building where the other games just emulate the high points and low points of being chased (with loud audio effects and distortion) and the AI being so horrendous the player is easily able to get away or figure out a method to specially cheese out the whole gameloop and eliminate the lose condition. And to negate the bad AI, the hitboxes(or registerboxes) and controls get to be worse in regard so you don't have that much of an easy time in the game.
Powerdrill was genuinly the first game i remember from this developer and it was unique, but it got old pretty quick by the half hour mark. It was just a novelty experience you set through and move on, but instead of the developer making tested and quality games on the engine he has chosen for, he has this empiric constitution to never alter any of his future games but to have a big checkmark list of what powerdrill Massacre was positively criticized for.
