Bernardo playing as a winger is also a big issue for width. He stays wide in build up but doesn't have the pace or ability to beat a defender 1-on-1 often simply because he doesn't have that elite short burst acceleration. They should be using another out and out winger at RW, maybe even start Dalot RB and playing Cancelo RW would be better imo.

I think most people respect Ronaldo but denying that his personality and character doesn't have an effect on people around him would be silly. In most national teams he would be a sub you play at the 60th minute, but because of his personality and status, Portugal managers are basically forced to start him no matter what or else they will be berated by him or the media. He is also insanely expressive in both a good and bad way. He does these little tantrums throughout the game that aren't exactly uplifting for his team. I think most people respect Ronaldo but denying that his personality and character doesn't have an effect on people around him would be silly. In most national teams he would be a sub you play at the 60th minute, but because of his personality and status, Portugal managers are basically forced to start him no matter what or else they will be berated by him or the media. He is also insanely expressive in both a good and bad way. He does these little tantrums throughout the game that aren't exactly uplifting for his team. I think having a conversation about him is totally fine and his status as one of the greats shouldn't automatically shield him from criticism.
