I bet Asus hate your channel, but I love it, always informative and the smile of success at the end.
and asus fanatics🤣
nice Vedio ☮️👍
@@alialshams1043 ahaha i sold my asus because of how many break, I didnt want to risk it
My asus i5 8GB RAM Nvidia 2GB has been working perfectly since 2014.
Very nice....10:16 "If the cable wants to play games, no problem. Its a gaming laptop and we can play games."
Not only a great engineer, but also great narraration. =) Keep up the great work. Learning alot. God bless.
hahaha, had to laugh, too :D
i laughed at it too
I’d say flawless victory but I think fluxfull victory works better.
Very Nice Alex! Seems ASUS laptops with no power is a very common issue!
@7:37-38 "Not even a BULLDOZER can remove that cap" hahaha you make me laugh at my workbench while watching 😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣
This is about the only channel on CZcams I “like” before even watching it. The expectation is there, and I have never been let down. Thank you Alex for making such brilliant informative videos. It’s not just the tips, repairs. It’s also seeing how the business operates, seeing you not afraid to personally package customer orders. Likewise the respect given to big boss, the love for your family when your daughter visits. Teamwork is a wonderful thing, and you all make it happen together.
6:43 - Cap has a hole on the bottom. Damn!
Good eye!
That's what I've noticed too !
I am so grateful I can sit down and watch this.
I learn something from every video. This time, a tip on the thermal camera by tilting the board to remove reflections that "look" hot.
Thanks!
Awesome repair! Amazing job as usual and better than factory!
Perfect job, as usual, thanks for your generosity in letting everybody learn your knowledge.
ابتسامتك بتدل على كمية السعادة وقت تصلح لابتوب كل التوفيق
nice to see you really enjoy fixing things
Nice job. I noticed you have an injury to your right index finger, looks like whatever you did to it, it must of hurt. Hope you're not in any discomfort Alex. No sick days, shrugs it off and straight back to work. You're a soldier my friend!
It is very nice to experience the excitement after the repair, I am glad to have you, God bless you :)
0000r5 yo 7m🎉
Love your skill and smile at the end :)
How great is that repair , big shot out to you mr ALEX
Thank you Alex!
Excellent work!
Better then factory, good joob like always, hello from Romania
Another fine job, thanks for sharing.
Very nice fix ones again, it was difficult tonsee this time but you were right as always 👍
Very nice work!
Very informative video. From Abidjan - Côte d'Ivoire.
always waiting for new content everyday..thankyou sir alex .! I have learned a lot from you.
Good job mate 👍
Did I already mention that I'm very proud of you?... (best regards from United Kingdom, brother from Azerbaijan)
Happy labor day to you and your family
Professional work.
"We got an Asus laptop that came in for no power."
This is like a really slow drinking game.
Good job. Very good work. maybe asus should open their own repair department, that could improve their reputation a lot and they would do a lot of good for the environment. but in these cases, unfortunately, as always, only the sale of a new product counts. Planned obsolescence.
Thank you for that video, greats
They outsource their warranty support in the UK to a 3rd party, they don't even want to work on them themselves !! My own Zephyrus went in for a "Non charging via Mains, only trickle charging via USB-C" and it took the buggers over a month to fix it door to door, and that was after only 5 months of occasional use and always with a fan tray :(
There's no way I would have bought it if I knew then what I've seen in here :(
Or they could just design them better so they don't have to repair them as much.
I like asus stuff and have used there motherboards for over 20 years but after watching the amount of fixes of there laptops on here I would never buy one.
nice..... your videos give me a lots off information.
Great fix Alex. Im surprised that Asus does absolutely nothing about these problems with motherboards..People spend hundreds on these laptops and probably some end up in skip as for some repair shops "they cant be repaired". |And motherboard replacement cost probably close to the original price of the laptop..Real shame Asus...
I watch all yr videos to the end
Just to see you smile at the end🌷🌷
God bless you
you are really good at you do.
with all the asus laptops you fix, im confindent i will be able to fix my asus zephyrus when it dies! great work! keep them coming!
wonderful job
Great job
Very good !
WELL DONE....
u know i like the way u do it and comment in doing ur job :)
Awesome!
You are great sir
Man I wish I lived out in the states, I'd most certainly send in my Asus GL753ve for repairs
Very nice 👍🏾
how proud i will be of myself if i can be even only half as good as you.
The man himself, Northridge "The Serial Asus Laptop Fixer" Fix.
I continue to be amazed how many caps seem to fail on these newer ROG laptops. Looks like they tried to cheap out on the wrong component type...but as long as it keeps consumers buying new, way overpriced laptops, it all continues chuggin' along.
Awesome ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Sir huge respect for reviving such laptops..Are all ASUS laptops having this issue or is it a selected batch or model having such issues?
One question. When you reassemble the laptop do you repaste the thermal paste or use the existing one. Happy to see your content. Lots of love from India❤️
Jon Stewart does it again!
Awesome
Nice.
Smooooooth 🔧
Do you replace thermal paste on CPU and GPU after fix or leave it for customer?
Do you work on motherboards that have liquid metal on them for cooling?
hes so skillsfull omg wow
Do you inejct voltage at. the shorted DC mosfet or at the resistor next to it?
Is size the only factor that matters when replacing caps? And how do you measure size. Do you just measure the length with a ruler?
el mejorrrrr
Not video related but i saw before that u changed that same ic near that capacitor many times so i have a ques, Why u find ic from donor board since u can buy those many from online bcz of common same ic problem?
nayse
Why do you not use ipa solving heat problem?
i learn a to z from year channel. last week i fixed lenovo G50-80 laptop using same method i don't have thermal camera so after inject voltage i touch every inch of motherboard with my finger tips 🙂
I smell a class action suit.
Is Asus Rog bad quality compared to the others? I always was told they are good. Their MBs for PCs are generally reliable.
i always HAVE YOUR SMILE BEHIND THE SCREEN WHEN YOU SUCCEED TO FIX SOMETHING LIKE I FEEL THE SAME WORD "WE"
In a previous video you sais someone complained about you calling these mosfet, because they are something else.
What does that mean? I looked up the m3058m code and it appears as a mosfet on the online documentation
The world is complaining, where is big boss when you need him! Oh dear! oh dear! 😂
when you repair something and its a fix your face is glowing like a moon
Good Jobs, I find it difficult to recognize which is the faulty component in case there is an absorption of 0.4-1.4A. I have a 300euro thermal camera but sometimes various heats, especially if they are small, it is difficult to recognize them (I use the one of the blackbiew 6600bv pro). I ask for advice: will the thermal imager remain in default or should it be set to a specific type of material? type iron, shiny, etc.?
Does your thermal camera have emissivity settings? If so, the general rule is higher emissivity of about 1 for plastic (but metal will be shown as colder) and much lower emissivity for looking at metal around 0.1-0.15.
@@I_SuperHiro_I yes, there are this setting, i Hope i've set correctly
@@michelemichvallerini9964 hopefully that helps.
Asus joined the HP hall of shame club. ASUS Pavilion Gaming Machine.
Hi there...
How do you know the value of the cap that is shorted out?
Same question, I was a bit surprised
you should send 10% bonus to asus for meking this kind of boards they supply you with many customers
hey i wonders do you even repair power on no display or u only repair no power and shorted boards. kindly can you upload video of no display repair video ? have a great day
If I was someone at big company, I would hire someone to watch repair videos on youtube and report, this is actually priceless data. Based on feedback from repairs, what is broken/fixed, they can make their product even better.
PS. Yes, today are retarded times and they make machines break after warranty, I know.
🤣🤣🤣 even a bulldozer cannot remove that cap... You make learning easy
Asus seems to be the only laptop gets broken lol
Though I understand i had one brand new 1 year later overheat beeps while use
What's wrong with many laptop power rail design
Why not use UniT for more productivity.
Another Asus who would have guessed ;)
Sir how I started a new repairing laptop shop..
🙏👏👏👏🙏
what Happened To Your Index Finger?
Either ASUS is a major laptop supplier in the USA or .........
man seeing asus products here most of the time concerns me and is proof everything ive had from them dies, from dvd external rom drives to wifi cards even when i had a laptop in 2008 would blue screen constantly and into later years of intel 4000 series or fx amd cpu's the sata ports broke off and my fx board died for whatever reason and about a year and some ago i bought a wifi adapter thinking nothing less about the brand and its asus.. what a pain in the butt its been but when it works it does just that. but i expect it to fail eventually like everything else. only thing asus still working is my old P4 board to this very day heh.
thermal cam is very expensive. i just use my feelings :D
Have a Asus gaming laptop that has got faulty in just a year and Asus is not giving any warranty in india pls help
Recently you have been complaining about ASUS laptop. I saw most of the ASUS laptop that you made video are ROG series. So my question is how often do you get Zenbook and Vivobook series of laptop? I mean is it a problem with ASUS the brand or could be just a problem with ROG series?
Hahah i literally just replaced the same smd on the exact same laptop on last Friday hahaha
Please how can I send a PC to you from Nigeria
Hp spectre x360 15 dead with no real reason.
Thanks
I have hp omen laptop for servising But suddenly new problem created was no display on Screen, so please gave me some tip or solutions for this problem😔😔
If these power short problems are so common on ASUS laptops, how come they haven't fixed it yet?
There is probably no reason to fix anything, if they were loosing money they would. Those failures are probably not as common as one can assume, seeing how popular those laptops are, that's just a small fraction of them.
@@BArTI007 there clearly is a reason if the majority of laptops this guy fixes are from ASUS. Seems a lot like planned obsolescence to me.
Smiling
I get the feeling that I shouldn’t buy an ASUS laptop. Which laptops are reliable?
What’s up with Asus products, are they really bad?
Why you still not hire someone to work with you?
Going to move from asus to lenovo
That bulldozer comment gave me a good chuckle. Thanks for sharing your videos!
Ehmm. .. wait... did i see this video already? Ah... no! its just "another" Asus Laptop :D
The video where the gaming laptop play games with the technician
