Hey SeaJay, I did your modification to my waterproof d7x, and when it works it is a game changer, however quite a lot of the time the valve is not venting whatsoever. I discovered this the first time when I removed my shoulder dump, and had to emergency vent through the neck...I am trying to figure out what is happening, but basically if I install the P valve front, and the cuff dump back and form a seal around the back with my mouth, and blow from the back I am unable to get any air to come out. I am wondering if that little circle ring that comes with the cuff dump needs to be installed? I am going to try it tomorrow with that and hopefully will have better luck.
