Omg stopppp the chaos of unfinished outlines and characters lists is so painfully relatable 😂😂 I use Google keep notes for my story ideas and developing them and I find notes I've started but never finished 😆

once your book is published, i'd love to see your outline! I'm always so curious how the outline translates to the novel

That's actually a *very* good idea, I might have to do that after I publish this fantasy romance novel, it has one of my more coherent outlines 😂

So so sooooo obsessed with all of your ideas!
Gotta admit, I'm a sucker for marriage-y tropes - I have a Marriage of Convenience book on the backburner right now too. Fingers crossed you'll publish that one soon so I can get my grubby lil' hands on it!
Right now, I'm still finishing up my urban historical fantasy so I can jump into my assassin WIP(s). Yeah, plural! Your vlogs have really kept me on-task to get my writing more consistent. You are very, very appreciated! ♡

Okay, I'm kinda relieved that my outlines aren't much more chaos than yours :D And also the idea. It's so cool if a Project idea brings a clear vibe even tho they're not fleshed out yet

I simply can't do the comic sans, it hurts my soul 😂 Hey, chaotic outlines are the way to go, haha! I know, I love the stories that are vibes with no plot, even if it's frustrating because I wanna write it! 😂

Sometimes I think I don't write certain stories because they exist in a space where I'm comfortable with them even tho they don't really have substance, but I'm afraid that when I have to give some of this up, because of logic, I loose my story. It's similar with some characters from TV shows. If you don't see them for a long time those characters take on a life o their own and get somewhat distilled down to their essence, the best of them. And if you get back to the source, they seem so different and you're somewhat disappointed. (Maybe it's just a me problem tho ...)

And this is now my favorite video you have done so far 😆
If your worried about you being understandable throughout, just know most of what I got is
“Dads being dads. Scary caregivers. Goblin children. All with found family.” And that means I’m behind ALL of them 😆
And as someone who was IN LOVE with marvel Loki when she was like 7, and then proceeded to grow up and have him as her favorite Norse mythos character. I NEED that Loki book, and I wait with bated breath for it to get onto your writing list 😆. Along side the Ya books.
I have something VERY similar when it comes to project Ian. I’ve learned that you just either gotta write it and go with the first or second thing that ends up on the document, or you go nowhere with it. At least in my case, and I’ve had my story since I was 5 with my sister. (Lost princesses and princes. Romance. Dragons. Flying horses and giant steed foxes. You name it, we had it 😆)
Your books scratch a fantasy itch I almost never notice I have, until you talk about, or write it. So basically, you are the reason I’m broke 😂.
And as for my book idea. Of course the man with the goblin boy acorn under his patio.
But I also have another passion project that is literally my friend’s fav. It’s about a girl who gets adopted into a royal family so she can pretend to be the dead princess and fill a marriage treaty. But her best friend who becomes a jewelers apprentice who grew up in the orphanage with her, is in love with her, and has a whole plot with the opposite kingdom and doesn’t trust the prince. But the two become best friends with the prince she’s supposed to marry. And the prince knows something is wrong, but doesn’t know it’s not the OG princess and just thinks she fell out of love with him, so he ships her with the best friend. Ensue much found family, guilt ridden princesses alongside a healthy adoptive family. Oh, and grouchy dad mentor who is slowly being healed by having the MMC be his apprentice after slowly hating the idea of children all his life after he failed to have his own family… and then a side romance with the Prince’s governess and his father because the mom is a wicked rat I can’t wait to write the death scene of 😂. Literally have no idea what genre this even falls under.
This all started because I daydreamed a scene of a princess dancing in a flower garden with a stable boy. And this just made my horridly long comments even longer. I apologize. 😂
    Sister quotes fo today~
“It said that Iohmar is angry because they scared Lor… like sir you are late to the party, I could have grabbed you a knife on my way here we could have been twinsies.”
(SHE LITERALLY WON’T STOP WITH WANTING TO MURDER BECAUSE LOR CRIED 😭. Im also running low on quotes, girl needs to get her act together and start reading more 😂)
Much love, can’t wait for the next video. And no, my comments will never be short 😂.

“Dads being dads. Scary caregivers. Goblin children. All with found family.” Yes, yes, that's correct, yes 🤣
Hahahahah yes, Marvel Loki was my obsession for a long time (I will enver forgive Marvel for not doing enough with him, hehe, he, he.....) Norse Loki series will happen one day....whe I can get my brain around the plot it will take and all the reseach I'll have to do 😂
I still wanna read old man and Acorn 😏
Ahhhhhhh no I love that idea, it sounds ridiculously long and involved so you know it's gonna be good. Get on that after Acorn 😏 😂
Your sister continues to crack me up!
      10/10 long comment 😊

This is the first video I watch from you and I love the book idea chaos. I wrote out my list and have about 60-ish books?! I published five already and working on the next three right now. They're fantasy, science-fiction, one horror, some contemporary romance, a bunch of historical fantasies.

Your ideas sound cool! I'm working on two primary WIP's, a YA Dystopia and a nontraditional fantasy (as I like to call it). Then I have a list of seven other WIP's I could pick up after those two. They include a scifi steampunk, a superhero fantasy scifi, an epic fantasy, a YA space scifi, a dystopia in space, YA fantasy, MG fantasy, and epic fantasy. I have more ideas than I have enough years in me to live, but I know the best I can do is work on where my passion lies.

Ahh I love your list of books to write! (also yeah, basic scrivener setup with increasingly chaotic outlines sections is my mode too) I so want to get on with my gender swapped dark fantasy Phantom of the Opera retelling, but I must finish the structural edits of current romantic gaslamp trilogy that has accidentally turned into four books. Whoops.

I appreciate the fact that you bounce around ideas and genres and have unfinished outlines and then let things simmer and then attempt to go back to them. I can relate so much to that unhinged chaos, because I felt like I was the only one who did that. 😅 As for me I have a bunch of unfinished projects that fall into the fantasy romance, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance umbrellas. I love love stories 🥰 but like the contemporaries are all going to be connected in some way so even though I have ideas for like 5 different contemporary series, they're all in the same world. And it's so chaotic in my brain. hahaha WAY TOO MANY IDEAS! The struggle is real.

I have the curse (or gift) of being an ideas person. I have hundreds of notes for books and series ideas. Do I want to write them all? Yes, of course. Will I be able to before I die? Maybe not. I need to stop myself from thinking of any new ideas until I turn at least 35 or something. Also they basically span every single genre and age group so...

i've not commented before (i don't think i have? i might have), but i loved this video and wanted to share some of my own brain chaos. first, thank you for the wonderful adventure that was this video (i mean this sincerely and positively), and second, thank you for giving me the space to share my own ideas.
so, i have one completed draft (that i am doing an entire rewrite of) for a story about werewolves. this is not shocking if you know me at all. it was meant to be a standalone but the heart-wrenching cliffhanger (per my friend) of an ending demanded a second book. it is tentatively a duology, likely a trilogy. (how does anyone know how many books an idea will be?) i have another book in the same universe called project cb ("companion book," because i'm a creative through and through).
i have a (garbage, no-good, needs to be thrown out) partial draft of a vampire story featuring one of my oldest original characters. this will be a standalone. i am manifesting it.
the rest will be categorized and named by title alone (with small tidbits of commentary) because i'd be here for several more paragraphs otherwise.
short story ideas: project vacation (mothman!!) and project angel (post-apocalyptic horror). novella ideas: project pr (a "witty" take on paranormal romance), project dnd (parallel stories based on a fictional dnd campaign), and project b&p (wlw goth and prep romance). novels/series: project fight (supernatural creatures, again) and bitten (ya horror with zombies). all of these categories are up for debate/open to being changed as the muses demand.
the genres are a whole mishmash of things. the only genre not represented that i'd like to be is sci-fi/(potentially) space opera, but i have a small idea egg in the coop that i'm waiting to hatch. (is this metaphor anything?)
anyways! many words later. thank you again, and have a wonderful day!
