This video shows the solutions to the three puzzles created in the Fisher's Shop Wooden Puzzles build video. Don't watch this video if you want to be able to figure out the puzzles on your own.
In this video, I demonstrate the solutions to each of the three puzzles I built in the Wooden Puzzles build video. The three puzzles are the puzzle cube, the Oliver string puzzle, and the star puzzle. If you haven't seen the build video yet, I encourage you to see how each of the puzzles are made by watching it here: • Woodworking: Making Wo... .

That Bites, No outtakes. The outtakes are the icing on the cake for his videos.
Fantastic workmanship
Thank you very much!
Drew, I enjoyed both videos today as always. You probably already know this, but just by chance, you don't, the cube is called a Soma Cube. Check it out on wikipedia and you'll see that a cube is only one shape you can make. There's a lot of different shapes which makes for a whole lot more fun.
Oh nice! Thanks, Bob
Great group of video’s, thanks for sharing!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
I got stuck again showing my kids so I had to watch the video. Thanks for the fun toy!
Hola! 🖐 Thanks for separating the "keys" to the puzzles separately from the actual build videos. These puzzles are definitely on my "To Do" list. Take care and have a good one, Adios! 👊
Glad you like them!
GrandPa had puzzles two and three in his roll top desk 40 years ago. Memories.... :-)
There were lots of puzzles in the drawers of that desk and i'd enjoy seeing you build more to compare with my childhood.
Very cool! Thanks for watching!
I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making these videos. What makes them so much more entertaining is the outtakes.
Thanks, Clyde! Glad you liked it
Nice puzzles Drew! Thanks for sharing the video with us!👍💖😎JP
You bet. Thanks for watching!
So glad you showed a video with how to solve these puzzles or it would have driven me crazy! I love them all but think my favorite is the ring puzzle.
That's my favorite too! :)
Nicely done thanks for posting.
Thank you too!
I actually have all three puzzles, but they are store bought ones. These self made ones are way cooler, and more beautiful! Well done, Drew!
Haven't played with them in a while, so to see the solutions was nice too!
Thanks! I appreciate that
I grew up playing these types of puzzles. My grandfather built them as well as the impossible nail puzzle and a few others. Great explanations
Thanks! :)
How did I miss this video 😀
Rats! No flat head screws.
Never mind, I saw it in the other video.
Such cool little projects! Thanks for sharing the secrets.
Thanks for watching!
Love em!
Thanks again Drew!
Making these for my grandkids soon!
Have fun!
More than the puzzle, that jig you made was awesome! 😂
Thanks! Yeah, I was particularly proud of how well that jig turned out
Good stuff. As an avid puzzle person, I really enjoyed these projects.
Thanks a bunch!
brilliant
You made some great jigs and the puzzles look awesome my favourite is the zebra pattern thanks for sharing and as always love the touch of humour you add
Glad you like them!
Thanks! I may build these because you made it sound so easy.
Have fun!
Awesome explanations to the puzzles. Great videos as always. Kind missed the flat head screw and outtakes but its all good. Can not wait till your next video. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
You are very smart Mr fisher, I really liked this videos.
Thanks!
Fun!👍
Q-Bert suddenly came to mind when you were describing the second piece of the first puzzle.
Huh, I had a puzzle like that 6-stick one as a kid, but unlike the one you built all the pieces were identical with just the two notches. The challenge was to be able to somehow put it together, since all the obvious ways end up self-obstructing.
👍👍👍👍
Actually there are 240 distinct solutions not counting rotations and reflections to the Soma Cube Puzzle which what the cube puzzle you solved is called. I have written a computer program which finds them all.
Oh nice!
Noticed the fuze-less mortar round in the background... former military?
That's for a friend. Hit up my Instagram to see what I did with that.
Second lol hi it's ian
Hi Ian! :)
What! No outtakes!
I'm too good at this
For the whole first section of the video all I hear is the theme to tetris

I'm getting too good
First
There is actually 240 different ways to solve this puzzle
