Noise issue has been resolved. This bike is the bomb. They start at 5400.00 dollars this is great considering some non e bikes are about the same this can also be ridden with no power......the e bikes are here.
Regular bike tony sparks
E bike iron man
I have ridden this bike. It is way noisier that the previous model. It squeals its head off at maximum power. Power delivery is smooth but way over controlled. Handling is ok but corning is not as good as i would have expected. You still have to ride it hard to get it to perform. If you like slow controlled riding then this is your bike.
Is this color alloy version?
Quietest motor? From what I have heard the new motor is much noisier :(
Is it true Specialized is holding shipments to local bike shops until the motor noise issue is figured out?
Well, in other words, would it safe for me to order a 2019 Turbo Levo at this time?
virkelie2 hi! I saw some related videos where the 2019 model was kinda loud. But today I tried myself one in a specialized event and is indeed quiet! :)
This is correct, shipments are delayed to January now. The corrected version is still louder than the 2018 Levo, but it's reasonable. See emtbforums for more.
I can personally verify that my 2020 TURBO LEVO FSR is whisper quiet when climbing in TURBO mode.
👍🏽
These ought to be pretty sick when I’m 60! I’ll get one in 20 more years baby! I think they’re cool as shit but not until I’m pretty good and disabled!
All those "super smart things" and configuration possibilities for the smartphone, but I couldn't find any information about a USB-output for charging our phones?? If there isn't any, that's super poor. Also the display needs its own, non-rechargeable battery? Why isn't it connected to the bike's battery, like every other manufacturer also does it and the only way it makes sense?
Just a shame the 700wh is a bloody rip off, or not offered at launch part exchange for the 500wh.
Riding my TURBO LEVO is just like me riding my pedal bike, only faster! 👍🏽
I want one but I'm trying to come to grips with the price 11,349,00 Yikes!!!!!!!
Cannondale2019 i know man I went for the comp version 7700 plus tax CAD, its arriving next weekend its worth
@@petarbg123 I got the expert for 9999.00. its amazing
Specialized motor? It is made by Brose. Specialized is specialized in frame design and building bikes, not electric motors, nor batteries.
Turbo Levo is a great bike, but a little too expensive. It costs as much as decent mid size motorcycle.
I hate this kind of disingenuous obfuscating marketing spin - the narrator just loses credibility when he talks up how much effort they put into weight savings and that it's almost 2 kgs lighter than the previous model yet doesn't say what it actually weighs, something like "The S-Works medium without pedals weighs 49 lbs". That's because instead of being honest, open, transparent and informative, they are afraid of scaring people with how heavy these bikes actually are. Not cool Specialized.
Trek is better
Why?
@@guzforce clearly not , 11 000 $ for a trek with a 500 W batterie versus 700 on the specialized
