I am so glad you made this video! I absolutely love the picks. Such a tremendous collection. I was jumping up and down, so excited to see some super cool slip covers, steelbooks and hardboxes I have never seen before. Amazing Criterions too. OOP Harold and Maude was a major flex! My wife must be thinking I'm going mad.

You convinced me to make it! Thanks for watching. I wanted to show some of my favourites but some awesome releases as well that hopefully get people interested in those films. I was so difficult to leave some choices out for certain years. I love the 40’s and 50’s!

You have good taste in films, and a really good eye for the classics. I'm a huge fan of Flesh and Fantasy, In a Lonely Place, and especially Vertigo. Glad you took part in the challenge!!

Great to see that you took part in this challenge also and I really enjoyed seeing your picks. I share your view about those two Douglas Sirk movies being his best. Also really pleasing to hear you say 3:10 to Yuma is your favorite western. I love many westerns so a few others would jostle for position in the top spot but this one is definitely magnificent and Charles Lawton Jr’s cinematography is stunning. You definitely have some enviable looking editions of some movies such as War of the Worlds and Drive. Touching to hear of the significance of A Taste of Cherry, I haven’t heard you talk of those experiences before but am glad that you were able to find a way through. Thanks for the kind mention also.
Thank you for watching Neil. It was very difficult to leave out some films! Douglas Sirk is incredible and I also really enjoyed Written on the Wind. I also enjoy westerns quite a bit and Destry Rides Again is another great one from the genre. I just love Glenn Ford and his performance in 3:10 is incredible. I have a video on my channel. It’s my why I collect video and I mention my previous experiences but yes that film is powerful. I also really liked a newer title released by a24 called Aftersun.

Hey, man. Love the fact that Halloween III is your favorite of the series. Mine is the original, but I feel like H3 is sorely underappreciated.
I don't know if it's true or not, but I've always heard that Halloween was at one point going to be an anthology series about the holiday, not solely focused on Michael Myers. If that second movie had followed that plan, I think people would have been on board with H3. Who knows what that series would have been like?🤔
Started cataloging my collection last night (something I've been meaning to do for a while), so it'll be a bit before my video comes out. I'm also driving out to Atlanta on Thursday, so here's hoping I can get it all done before then. 🤞

Halloween is a classic and I think it’s nearly a perfect movie but Halloween 3 to me is just so different but such a blast to watch. I also love Tom Atkins so that helps Halloween 3 a ton. Yeah I remember hearing stuff about how Halloween was supposed to be set up differently but they made a ton of money or something like that.
It’s a time consuming video lol so enjoy ur trip to Atlanta first aha
