  • Brandy Wilcox, a resident of Bush, La., enrolled in Delgado’s Culinary Arts program as a first-time college student at the age of 49. The opportunity led Wilcox to secure an immersive internship at Doris Metropolitan-a high-end butchery and restaurant in the French Quarter. “The Culinary Arts program here at Delgado is very comprehensive,” Wilcox shared. “You are learning the business management side of it, human resources management, costing, cost control, food safety, and sanitation. You’re not just going in and getting a certification. You’re doing a deep dive.” Watch
