Who else came here from the master class and was like "woah she's actually coming up"
She was at the Grammys this year too
Watched the clip, song stuck in my head, watched the full master class session. Song really stuck, ... Wait this was 5 years ago, looping album on Spotify, then this video
The original video was the only video that captured the discovery of a new artist, a new voice and I've watched it 10 or more times for it's purity - nice, talented people making music and making our lives breath
I would be so salty if i was those other students in that class lmao.
fucking 100%! haha she deserves it though
Damn right! But you can't help but be happy for her. She made it!!!! Now as musician I can live vicariously through her and hope one day I will have my shot too!
I KNOOOOOWW!!! But she's got it, so it's all good.
lol
u can keep that wack energy
You often see 'inspiring stories' online nowadays, but Maggie's really is one of those inspiring stories. Great singer/songwriter and hope she strives and prospers
I’d say she has
Pharell is such a beautiful human being
I sobbed watching him listen to her song for the first time. Magical moment.
did you actually cry? genuinely curious if people cry because of stuff like this.
@@PacManPark YES. I may have held back if someone was around, but I was alone and let it flow. Whitney Houston’s Superbowl national anthem gets me too. It's not about patriotism, it is 100% Whitney. There is a video of a kid’s choir, they are called PS22 singing Lisztomania by Phoenix...It's from over a decade ago and I still cry watching it. Aretha Franklin singing Natural Woman to Carol King at the Kennedy Center Honors...sobbed. I just feel like I'm actually witnessing magic or something divinely happening on earth amongst humans through art and I'm overcome by beauty. It feels as good as a belly laugh. Total release.
@@Bethenough love this!!! thse r the reactions that I love from art
@@PacManParkIf something touches me, I certainly do. I totally get why the original video - the talent, the genuine awe from an expert who literally does this every single day, the heartfelt celebration of beautiful and unique art - could bring someone to tears.
IT MAKES ME CRY SO HARD EVERY TIME
it was the I have ZERO ZEEERO ZEEEEERRROOOOO notes
That little double-take she did was so cute. Great moment.
While picking up my Starbucks coffee I heard this beautiful voice that was so stunningly beautiful that I just had to know who it was. My soundhound wasn’t working, so I kept listening, remembered some of the lyrics and then googled them and discovered this singer and wow am I glad I did!
This is a really cool story no lie. I’ve come across new music by listening to it at a super market or a car driving by. I get strange looks sometimes when I ask them what they are listening to but whatever lol
Gotta use Shazam. Someone is in need of a Reality Check. I had a similar experience: Starbucks at Yosemite I heard a song I swore was John Lennon. Was trying to find it but couldn’t; I like the search in this case. Then I discovered his son Julian. Too Late For Goodbyes. What a track. Keep digging!
Damn the only song she had happened to be Alaska? Crazy
Love her and her beautiful music, her story just makes it that much better ✌🏻
YES! I love Pharrell, Maggie, and that masterclass video.
Pharell has the best skin of all producers
Because he’s a vampire
Love Pharrell.
Shouting put her other professor, what an angel
I fucking love her!!! I knew she was special and different!!
pharrell's has the same favorite part of the video as everyone else!
Who else watched that more than 2-3 times?
Her concert was the best day of my life
I cried watching that video
She’s so bad ! I have had her mix playing for weeks on repeat. 💕
Proud of you Maggie!
i can stare at her face all day
Yes!
The guy who is giving the interview is so off. But the humbleness of Pharrell and Maggie overshines his empty comments.
Why pherrell look like he still 13. This dude is a vampire
It was so real so special!!!!
she's good
Pharrell, DROP UR SKIN ROUTINE!
cold water as always
haha, Pharell, the only man to put in clauses in his soul selling deal. He negotiated his deal with the devil well.
PHARRELL IS A VAMPIRE. Look it up! LOLOLOL. Seriously, I heard he joked 'I wash my face'! I wanna know the name of the cleanser!
Pharretinoll 3 days a week
She had one song, and so she turned it in.
She's wearing the same hat! (:
She’s adorable.
Maggie: "I was just looking at your shoes".
P: "See these ice cubes, see these ice creams?"
Does anyone have a link to this full interview that is not behind the paid wall?
Cafuné is actually blowing up though! “Tek It” is all over TikTok etc
Pharrell's a good guy
As amazing as she is, can we all take a moment to appreciate Pharrell's skincare regiment?! He looks like a Pharaoh
He has a team that paints his face for public appearances as does every single celebrity. I think it is called make up.
@@elhior23 get outa town. Tell me more
how does she describe it? i’m curious. now i want to compare haha
She is cute af!
Dog Years is a lowkey classic.
crazy how young looking pharrell is
Rip to the other two students 🤣
I am die hard fan her music is probably the only music to make me cry because it is so beautiful but Alaska is actually my least favourite song she has out there.
Fallingwater is def number 1 followed by retrograde for me
@@dannycruz303 kids like us best song for me
Yesss! I agree, she’s so very talented and Alaska is amazing but the other songs are better!!! Lol
Yo.. didn't know she's lisping 😮
Pretty sure this is at least The Second time.
Uh, they met in July 2017 though
They most likely met in March 2016 thats when the video of the masterclass first was posted on yt
These swaying cameras that zoom in and out is making me feel sea sick
That lisp has gotta go
