Wildlife, History and Hills around Little Cornard

  • With another sunny winter day on the cards I headed just south of Sudbury to park up at Cornard Country Park and explore some of the lovely countryside around there. I found the place called Danes Hole where it is reported Queen Boudicca was defeated by the Romans, Cornard Great Oak, Cornard Country Park and Little Cornard historic church.

    Lovely interesting video. Could i say just one thing? boudicca wasn't defeated at Danes hole but watling street midlands. She may have defeated the Colchester roman garrison at Danes hole. Great walk, and thanks for highlighting this area.
