Great video! Thanks Tim for making it easier to understand.
Glad it was helpful!
YESSS! Thanks for the video!
I'm in the process of attempting to connect a smart OL (E300) to our Micro850.
Great tip to get the instance assemblies from Studio5000.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, ca a real Ethernet Ip device be connected to an emulator? Through the ethernet port as you would normaly PLC?
I don't know. I tell people that the simulator is good for determining if you want to learn PLCs. After that, you need to invest in some hardware.
Could you talk about temp control using the PID function block in 800 series? This would be for an extrusion process. Tks
Yes, we do have this video as of now but we are going to record some new PID videos soon and with the growing popularity of the Micro800, it would make for a good video.
good morning tim Can I use a point io with this new line of micro800 drivers? What can I communicate using this new micro800? thanks
Yes, I have experimented with this. The only trick is figuring out the connection sizes. This document will help.

I probably will, I have a project coming up where I'll need them.
Interesting.
I haven't heard of the E series. Is this series new?
It has not been out very long, maybe a year.
