Ptooies have been around for a long time. Mario 3, Mario Bros Wii, Yoshi's Woolly World, Paper Mario Color Splash, and now this game. Happy to see more types of Piranha Plants getting more use in Mario games.
They also have a small cameo in Paper Mario: The Origami King. They are in one of the coffee rooms with a Dino Rhino. They preform a little tune for you.
They also spun off a variant called River Piranha Plant in NSMB Wii and U
The ones in New Super Mario Bros Wii and Yoshi's Woolly World aren't Ptooies, they are Stalking Piranha Plants
@@biondigiacomo7176 That wasn't at the top of my head when thinking about what games they came from.
@@biondigiacomo7176New Super Mario Bros Wii has Ptooies and Stalking Piranha Plants
You forgot to mention that there's a Macaw Bird on one of the vines going towards the cave entrance. And the water droplets after jumping from the waterfall exit only work if you use a mushroom. And the Ptooies not blowing any mushrooms or bananas if the item settings is set to custom items, shells only or Bob Ombs only? That also applies to Time Trials. Plus, this is also the Ptooie's overall 3 dimensional debut after being in 2D for so long.
Oh wow, I didn't notice the macaw! Great find! It even shows in the opening, but the red just blends in with the rafflesia and red spectators in the area. Also, I never used a mushroom through the waterfall when taking footage, so the water droplet behaviour was incomplete.
I love this update, so helpful!!! Kart is so fun to play on switch with friends and can’t wait to play with these additions 😊
This track’s remake is actually amazing (at least visually haven’t played yet)
The Ptooies are finally back.
Rally round the Koopalings, with a pocket full of shells
Riverside Park has been done some justice after what Tour did to it.
That grass texture in the 8DX version is from the base game. Great effort Nintendo!
Merry Mountain had it too.
@@harrybest2041 Correct :)
@@harrybest2041 Exactly. London Loop, Amsterdam Drift, Berlin Byways, Peach Gardens, DS MC, Bangkok Rush, Yoshi's Island, Singapore Speedway, and some more tracks from the BCP have grass that looks similar to the grass in GBA MC, Excitebike, and some other base game tracks
I find this kind of videos very entertaining
Cool analysis. Surprised to see it came from the GBA game. Either way this is one of my favorite new stages from this DLC wave.
Thanks! And glad to hear it!
Many Different Changes between Mario Kart Tour Tracks and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tracks.
Finally grass with texture
That's awesome that they've added a rocky cave entrance and exit on that O-turn in the end of the track.
It's a pseudo-Donkey Kong track
Super Circuit remakes are my fav thing about MK8!
Gotta love that Baldi’s basics sound 6:31
Also with ptooies Coming out of the river every 30 seconds a ptooie will come out of the forest just after the mud pit
Oh, you're right about the second Ptooie! It comes out from behind the red blocks between the red and yellow Toads. Nice catch!
The small but river Wave 4 track, it gets a 7.5/10!
Changes I would make:
The Broken Bridge 3:14 should be an anti-Gravity that begins when at the bridge and ends after the Jump.
3:55 The Moss would be on the rocks.
The final corner 4:08 maybe an Anti-Gravity section? Starting at the beginning of it and ending at the final jump.
The final jump 4:20 should be a Glider Jump.
Music:
GBA: 6:27
Tour: 7:18
🎺🎷: 8:16
Those could have been cool additions!
Why would it be anti-gravity?
@@theniceboy727 they look like tilted sections and Anti-Gravity is Mario Kart 8’s Main Feature.
epic
as super circuit player back then, i’m not liking the layout of the remake, but i love the visuals
For me music sound like its from flash game
That’s NOT monkey chatter???
It sure isn't! Cuicas have been used in many games in the past, too, like Ocarina of Time, where they were prominent in Goron City.
@@PeachToadstool And as the fish catching sound in animal crossing gamecube
@@FigureFarter Yup!
Once again a track from the worst Mario kart game have been given the breath of life to reach its full potential
mario kart 64 & super mario kart are right there
Super Circuit isn't perfect, but I think it's FAR superior to Super Mario Kart. =/
