I just moved in my home and my shower has this door. Every time I shower water pours out the bottom. I’m so glad I found this video, because now I know the door was installed wrong.

Not necessarily. I’m installing this now and the instructions specify not to put sealant on the inside. If you seal it and you have water stuck in there it’ll find another way out that’s probably going to cause you some problems.

I installed this door in my home about 2 years ago. I always thought it was weird the instructions specified to caulk only the outside of the door and the threshold. I also found it weird that the threshold was only held in place by the outer caulk bead. This seemed like a problem just waiting to happen.
Well, last week the bottom threshold came loose so now I'm trying to figure out the best way to secure it going forward and makes sure it doesn't leak.
Seems like a better design would have been to have some screws fastening the bottom threshold to the door frame.
In your video, it looks like you might have put caulk on the inside of the frame and threshold.
    Any suggestions?

How did it go? I'm installing another one Monday. Probably pushing 20 installs of this shower enclosure! Feel free to contact me

Thanks for the video. We just installed this shower door, but we have a problem. Our opening is just a little too narrow, so now the door won't open and close because the edge of the door hits the strike jamb latches (the little balls with the springs inside) a little too deeply (like at the middle of the ball instead of the edge of the ball). We have installed the jamb pieces ALL the way in (one piece inside the other) for maximum width for the door. We are limited by the inside jamb pieces which hit the inside of the outside jamb pieces. Do you have a recommended solution? Would appreciate some advice. Smaller latch balls would be good, but probably not available; Cutting down one of the inside jamb pieces a little (1/4 inch is probably enough), but then we will have to make new screw holes. Thanks in advance.
