Nice and thorough review Bro. Price is fine for the quality and features. I agree on not getting them wet. They take forever to dry and they all crusty. I had to use a lesther moisturiser on my leather gloves after a massive downpoor
Thank you, Karl. Yeah, keeping them away from the rain is a better approach that will improve life, and, of course, comfort. Which moisturizer did you use?
@@TollFreeTraveller You can use coconut oil, that has worked great for my gloves, only downside is that you need to keep that overnight for the curing part. I tend to forget which gloves to carry during the monsoon season so always in my tang bag I will have a set of surgical gloves. So in case it starts raining, no matter which gloves I have my hands dont get wet.
Hi Karl, thanks for the exclusive review of the glove, may I know can I purchase the glove cos I stay outside India. I'm a Singaporean or can you send me the contact information where I purchased.TQ
I love the way of your presenting. Your pronunciation, vocabulary and clarity is perfect. Every review of yours has its own style. Thank you for making nice vlogs. Keep it up 🙂
I was literally looking for a pair of all purpose full gauntlet gloves. I have tried many models by many makers and I even tried the viaterra grid but as you said, the price at that time threw me off. Now that I can afford one I was wondering if I should go for the grid and look at the coincidence. You released the much awaited review I was looking for. Thanks man. Now I made up my mind bro. Very nice work. Keep it up.
Thanks for the review buddy. I actually own a pair which I bought just before the lockdown. On the few short rides I did, i didn't find them too comfortable. So was a bit upset especially since I spent a bomb. But now thanks to your advice, I am going to given them some time and break them in :-)
Very good review. Firstly I came in to this video with the intention of knowing the product. But, as an English teacher by profession, I enjoyed your accent more. Crystal clear words, honest review. I've been following you for long time. Your videos are good. Keep rocking.
Your reviews are so thorough and to the point, love it. ❤️ Also, I watched and followed your review for the Aspida Odeyssus and bought them. And I am so happy with those pants and they are very comfortable. Thank you. 🙂
I love watching your videos. Came to jr channel after watching Himalayan tour from RE (cus I was planning to book new RE 350). I think you should also make reviews for cheaper gloves for people like me who are new to actually riding. For all the pros out there, hey definitely has more info than us. But again u review what you get.. Makes sense. But if some day u can go for cheaper gears/other stuff would be really helpful. (Don't mean cheap like pro bikers but something mid range like 3k)
I too own a pair. Just brought them without thinking much as they seemed okay. Except for a few niggles such as the stitch / seams inside one finger causing abrasion and the left hand (Throttle hand) being tight, found no problems. Guess it will take some time to break in. Just drove 100 kms on Saturday with these new gloves. Seem good.
You said exactly what i felt when i used this same grid in rain, and your right pinky finger seems to be turned a bit like mine which made me to worry before using it. After using i was so happy that it went well though, completed an aprox 3000km east coast to west coast trip. I did ask you once to do a review about this earlier. Hope you'll do the review of the Triumph all weather gloves soon.. Cheers🤩
Thanks for sharing your experience too. You e clearly used them well. The triumph gloves had a problem so I returned those to the manufacturer. They were an old model. Hope to get something different for winter use in the future
Fantastic review! Subscribed. Plan to order a full gauntlet glove soon and need your thoughts on these, Alpinestar sp8 V2 ( 6999 (M only) or 9999), Rynox Storm Evo 2 (recently launched, 5000), Viaterra Grid and Aspida Ares. Thanks.
The touch sensitive fingers makes a HUGE difference! Anyone who is in the habit of riding with gloves on will know. And when are we reaching 100K brother? God willing, soon!!
Factory Alarm & Bus Honking... 😂😂😂😂 Post Credit scene are best.. And thank you so much for this review. Was really informative... Specially i asked you about the waterproof properties you covered everything perfectly..
@@TollFreeTraveller yeah, it is like i could experience the feel of wearing both of them and got to knw all the features by its comfot... Need more gear review... Bro can u do a video abt drone which ur using currently and how to fly mavic mini pro n cons...❤TFT
Very crisp and objective review. Congratulations on the high quality content. May I request you to do something similar on touring boots... I am also curious to know what touring boots did you use during your extensive rides up north...
I completely agree with you on these being the best value for money. I have used them for over 7k k. Of adv riding in spiti, Ladakh and Arunachal. Totally happy with them. Just one caveat. The plastic sliders have eaten in to the Trip Machine leather grip wraps. While sliders are great protection on a race track, I sincerely hope Vieterra make a pair for touring without the these hard sliders.
Thanks for sharing. I see your logic and can understand where you're coming from. But, personally, I would prefer that the sliders remain. They can be hugely useful in case of highway falls as well. It's cheaper to change the leather wrap once in two years than doing one round in the hospital for a scaphoid injury. Also, less painful. That's my perspective on this
@@TollFreeTraveller hmm... I appreciate your point on safety and completely agree with you on the leather grips being cheap to replace. My point was that I seem to be use the base of the palm also for holding the handlebar when touring ( would not do that in a tucked in position on a race track). The hard sliders make it uncomfortable and reduce grip too. A patch of 1.2mm cowhide with a layer of D3O under it will take care of aberration and shock in case of a fall. Will also keep the base of the palm more comfortable and usable :-). Might bump up the price of the gloves..but thats OK. 🙂. BTW, while I don't comment, I love your uploads and especially your narration. Keep it up and keep inspiring 👍🏽
It's so nice to see your vlogs. Hope we get to see more like these soon. Could you please advice regarding handguard, like the 1 you have on faith. If you could share the product link that would be much appreciated.
Hey Rohit..just the thing was looking as the lockdown seems to come an end was looking to buy a full gauntlet to ride back to Chennai... thanks for the review and also what do think of the full gauntlet ones of biking brotherhood... thanks and stay safe...
This gloves is suitable for r15 v3 , I m not tourer but I ride bike for 44 km ( total distance from home to office return from office from home ) Is scimitar cosmos v2 give enough protection for daily use ? Suggest me thx 😇
HI... Review about the Viaterra full gauntlet glove is crisp clear & impressive ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clarification : Is this glove water proof and have you tried immersing same in a water or used in rainy conditions ?
What size are these? Would you suggest going for a bigger size to accommodate thin woolen liner for winter rides, or it fine with the size chart, for me it's L..so bit confused if should go ahead with L only..
When i started creating motovlogs, before that your videos were one of many i used to watch occasionally, never thought about the gloves but now as i have, do i need to wear something like latex gloves inside or just directly wear them on naked hands? I have axor breeze btw , thanks in advance.
My hands are not sweaty in any glove but in this glove, the ingress & egress gets progressively difficult as the day progresses in dry weather. The inner linings could be better at this price point. I heard they will fix it in V2.
Is there a major difference between viaterra yellow and black full gauntlet gloves. I was unaware of the difference and yesterday bought yellow full gauntlet gloves. Should I replace them with black ones? Please suggest
Rohit bhai is it really important for us to have a snug fit for gloves??? And should the gloves fit correctly for every finger I mean some people have shorter fingers and the finger tips do not reach till the end of the slot for each finger Is it really necessary???
yes buddy. recently when i visited a showroom they told like size M was not ok for me. then tried with size S. they told this was the apt one.. reason was the finger tips should touch the end of the slot for each finger. so its always important to keep this point in mind.
Bbg full gauntlet or shield full gauntlet or viaterra. Which one will you pick top 2? Confused of selecting gloves quality. Apart from viaterra which one is good shield or bbg.
