This is amazing! Kdenlive keeps adding great features lately. Give me great hopes for its future. If it can just improve its overall stability and speed and add Blackmagic RAW support

You should see their roadmap, big plans which include RAW footage support, hopefully that involves Blackmagic.

@@nuxttux Absolutely! I've kept an eye on that roadmap for a while, and they do indeed seem to be checking it off. There just doesn't seem to be even any rough dates attached from what I've seen so it's hard to bank on. And I understand it's difficult with Open Source projects to make things happen by certain dates sometimes, it just would help me a lot to know roughly when anything like that would even be expected.
I would absolutely LOVE to switch my company from Resolve to Kdenlive one day, I would pretty much need the entire roadmap to be completed though. Otherwise we lose large amounts of efficiency and thus money!
I will continue to use Kdenlive from time to time though and find ways to give input or support!! I really want a future where Kdenlive is said in the same conversation as Resolve or Premier Pro. Your channel is really helping with that BTW! Great tutorials and exposure for the project!

Very cool feature - I didn't know kdenlive had that.
BTW if you have the speech and the video in separate files you can use the feature if you just merge them into a single file using ffmpeg (using '-c copy') or a similar tool

I'll definitely give that a try, thanks for sharing.

    Good video.
I thought it was going to be about console based editing. I was really excited. I prefer command line to GUI.
    I do enjoy your work.

Fair enough. I've only dabbled with command line editing using Blender.

@@nuxttux I've never tried that. I've only used blender a handful of times. The render times on my machines are way too long, so I don't fool with it.
I have, however, started rendering kdenlive files to a script and then running "melt -progress filename.mlt". This cuts my render time by at least a third.
      Keep them coming.

Muy buena herramienta. Gracias por el tutorial, fácil y muy bien explicado.
¿Podrías hacer uno sobre el renderizado por medio de scripts mlt?. Gracias.

Awesome! Keep going and seek God, He loves you and He created you for great things.
