I am very surprised of the quality. I am owning a BYD Dolphin and I have no problems after 9 months and 20,000 km. I will wait for the Sealion. I assume a good price in Thailand; only slightly more expensive than the Seal.
I want premium interiors like Mercedes. BYD is not offering that

Have a Seal Performance and it’s been great. Def looking at this when it’s launched here in Australia. One flaw is I wish it had the same seats as this SeaLion 7, the extendable thigh support. Really needed in the Seal.

I don't care how many decibels were on the meter, the BMW definitely sounded much quieter !
It was recorded on another date by different cameras and different microphones. That is why the sound is different. Only decibels can show the real fact, because the noise checker was the same.

Aussie comment: owned BMWs for most of my life and traded our G20 3 series for a BYD Seal. Extremely impressed for the price, and even at double the price, I’d still be impressed. With 523bhp for under $70K AUD is unreal. Quiet as a Lexus LS. As quick as an BMW M5 with the space of an X5 in the rear seat. Impressive and an actual opinion. The SeaLion 7 looks to be another home run for BYD.
