- Thanks for watching! This video is a lot longer than previous one, I just think it will be useful for those, who just started to modify watches. Something may seem to be too obvious, but not when you do it for the first time :D
Feel free to ask me any questions, my contacts + all the link you need to find are below.

Its 4:00 AM and I really should be sleeping. But here I am, watching this full vid.
Amazing job.
Thanks and good night😁😁😁🙏❤️
I am seiko fanboy but SD did great for the willard. For 1/10th of the price with just cheap modd it lets normal people own a willard feel. I do want the real thing though in my bucket list.
Agree, that SD's Willard is just a gem for the price
Nice video. I am just wanting to buy this watch and do what you do as an hobby!!!
It's a great idea! 👍 Just do it😊
I think this video could be better than the one you did with the Willard mod great stuff keep up the good work.
Oh.. I spent 10X more time for making this video😅😅
Eres un crack gracias por detallar como sacar la corona . GRACIAS!!!!
You're welcome 😊🙏
Good video with good tips. Thanks. I would've liked to have seen the hands pop off; do they fly off using those pry tools?
Thank you for watching! No, they never fly off anywhere outside the dial area, don't worry :)
Great Video! You've explained everything very well and in a very pleasant manner!
Couldn't you make a video on changing the crown of this watch? Would be very nice!
Thank you😊 I couldn't find another crown that fits this case, sorry🥲
@@ShortBetterOk! Good to know. Thought 7mm screw down crowns would fit. Too bad it obviously wouldn't.
No, unless you change the tube. But it seems to be a headache
Thanks
Nice 👍👍
Thanks 👍
gGood stuff. Thank you. I would have changed the crown at least, as well as the caseback. Looks odd having a Seiko dial and a steeldive crown... easy giveaway that it's a mod.
Do we know the seiko caseback would fit?
Pedazo de crack... on english: a real mvp gracias
Haha, thank you😁
Wich is the app you use in your phone to adjust the balance?
Watch Accuracy Meter
I'be bought a black dial SD1975 that I plan on modding. Are the crystals, bezels etc all the same size as SKX007/009 parts?
Better I give me more details about this tuna parts, easier to find what you need
Case Size: 47.5mm/ CaseThickness:15mm/ Lug size: 22MM/ Lug to lug length:44mm
Bezel size: 38*31.6*1.2mm
Dial Size 31.2*30.0*28.5*0.4mm
Hands Size 8*12*12mm
Crown Size
7mm
Have you done any modifications on the STEELDIVE SD1985 Professional 1200m
No, it's pretty expensive model to play with it :D
Please give me the link to buy parts
Shouldn't the hour hand be on top of the minute hand?
The hour hand is first, minute 2nd, second 3rd😊
Hi how do u remove the bazel in this one ? thx
I usually remove only bezel insert, it's safer and easier
the protective cover can be removed by unscrewing the bolts
Thanks for sharing! :)
For the removal of the shroud you need a 1/16" hex key.
My dual Ring is misaligned. Can I adjust it the same way? Or do I have to remove the glass?
On original SD1975?
@@ShortBetter It's a SD1972
@michaelbents1879 you can still make micro edjusting by opening the case and moving the movement (very carefully) to the opposite side of your misaligned chapter ring. Not sure about the chapter ring on SD1972, but on 95 it's fixed, so you can't move it around
@@ShortBetter thanks for your help. I'll try.
@@michaelbents1879 good luck😁👍
Bro that dial had 3. 3.8 and 4 feet positions hahah… you didn’t need to cut them all off….
3, 3.8 and 4.1
Yes, I needed to cut them all😊
hi. would like to know: size of dial, size of hands, size of crown replacement? tnx
Here you go
Dial 29mm
Crown size: 7.00mm
Hands size: 8.00*12.00*12.00mm
@@ShortBetter thank you so much!
@@DAS-fg2hq you're welcome, good luck with your mod 😉
this guide works also for the Addiesdive myh5?
Yes, it's absolutely the same case😊 But be careful with reusing addieses hands. They can be worn off easily if you apply too much pressure when placing them again
@@ShortBetter maybe I’ll buy some spare hands !
🙏
@@leodileodileo Btw, there is a promo on aliexpress. Addies now is really cheap
a.aliexpress.com/_EviQuMJ
@@ShortBetter I know , and I saw a tandorio (Seiko monster homage) with no logo with nh36a ad 50€😱
What is the size of the dial?
29mm😊
Should have done mod with a sterile version
Do you mean the dial? Yes, that one is available as well😊
It looks great etc but unless you have experience of a watchmaker I wouldn’t attempt it. And good luck asking a jeweller to do this for you.
The same watch, San Martin, is Right now on sale for $105
Wow! Didn't see it yet, thanks for sharing! I got tuna for 75 during promo now
@@ShortBetter yeah, and the bronze one is $120... I bought it yesterday
@@ramy8700 couldn't find such price, would you mind sharing the link here?
@@ShortBetter sure, which one of the two do you want?
@@ramy8700 found the bronze one for 110$ just now, that's unbelievable! Thank you so much, I couldn't get from them such low price before
Next time please mention dial diameter. Monster is 30mm ? And this one is 28.5mm ?? So confusing 😒
This one was 29mm, but for SteelDive's 1975 and 1953 both, 28.5 and 29mm fit perfectly :)
Thanks for reminding, the next video will be better:)
To me, this is far too ambitious for anyone who doesn’t normally take apart watches.
You have to start somewhere.. Step by step, break a few movements. That's how it works. I've learnt from my mistakes, but now I can make for you a video you help you avoid all of those troubles :)
Seiko face on chinese dont wash your hands or it will not work.
Is seiko hiring mod haters now?🤔
I've had seiko tunas since the 80s still do had a white face Daytona and fakes are NOT cool ,,there was a law if not still. and I dont work for seiko, copy cat @@ShortBetter
@@acim2228 You must have a great watch collection! Feel free to contact me if you want to add a Feiko mod to your collection 😊 😉
using tape on a watch is ghetto
I use everything that works well haha
