I swear James is the best part about these vehicle vids.
If you want to make it a bit more lively, chuck a higher ratio diff in her. It probably has a really tall diff in it from factory and the quicker diff will liven it up nicely. Just remember to change out the speed sensor to match or else the ecu will think you are going way faster than you really are, and give you a fuel cut once it thinks you are doing top speed, even though you would be going a lot slower than that.
Either way, nice car! Hope to see more of it :)
Oh yeah, listen to how long it sits on the converter at the end when he floors it. Probably got like 2.73s in it
You mean a lower ratio diff to be quicker off the mark
1:15 "has a bit of a urine smell" and that's what we call forshadowing. Future self to past self, make sure you check the headliner. Sounds weird, but you'll figure it out
I would say make sure the trans is good, then start modding for power! A blower would be a good start 😉
My dad drove a Toyota camry for like 15 years and had no issues ever. Still drives smoothly today.
cant wait for all the future car repair videos, honestly really love all the cars on this channel
:) This actually makes me interested in cars, just with how you and James are. I used to hang around in my dad's garage since it was the only way I could like 'have a relationship' with him, since he wasn't interested in my stuff... and once I moved out I kinda never looked at it again, but this makes it look fun :3
Ayyyy new car! Nice
“New”
Not really 😂😂😂
Wow, back to back, you’re killing it mate! Awesome
Everyone needs a James. What an absolute legend!
I love all the work you put into the cars that you get
This is some of my favorite car content on youtube.. as much as i love dankpods vids and other garbage time stuff + drum streams, the car stuff hits different
Thank you for this upload Wade, you really made my evening
bloody love this. i have a 94 ef v8 fairmont that im restoring its awesome to see these cars still crusin around
YASSSS 😂 I love the enthusiasm. I’m that way with my 95 Jeep YJ and I was cracking up with all the issues cause that’s usually me when it gets on the lift!
we need drag race between jeff and tony ASAP
Yes, yes we do
If it's too slow, the obvious solution is to go wild and add an ebay turbo to it.
Enjoyed the video as always.
I absolutely love the car videos!! Makes my day every time you post one
Dang, she sounds good! love you and James looking at old nugget mobiles!
It's funny how the older ford's last so much longer than the newer ones. Beautiful car tho
Newer fords are just fine. I have a '15 5.0 that I bought new and have put 80k miles on. No problems whatsoever.
@@abie1308 it's probably just my luck with them then. My luck with fords haven't been the greatest lately.
Also update: getting Subaru'd, my head gasket is going out lol
@@abie1308 80k miles? We don't use that here in Australia..
What ford is it?
@@Dead-st7ry I would guess he's referring to the Mustang GT or the F-150. Both come with the current 5.0L Coyote.
I love the blown head gasket look of the coolant overflow tank.
It's not an EF or EL without the boot hitting you in the head
Thats just the plastic getting all brown and crusty... they sorta fixed it on the BA's so you could see the trans oil stains easier when the cooler exploded 😅
God, I always forget how nice old v8's sound. Love your car stuff man, hope it isn't too expensive
7:17"We'll get to see if anything is living in there" not yet you don't
I love when this channel posts most hilarious stuff
You wouldn't catch me dead in a Ford made in the last 35 years tbh but this one is a beaut
Almost every vehicle manufacturer has had some type of massive scandal, now it's all about picking your poison 😂
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley I work on modern fords five days a week, every single one of them has significant quality issues. Nothing on Stellantis but it's pretty bad. Most other manufacturers don't come close to the quality assurance issues I've encountered.
No need to preach to the choir, I've seen it for myself.
Edit to add: Don't forget that Explorer engines have catastrophic failure all the freaking time, remember that Platinum edition 2021 Explorer that went viral on reddit for exploding with less than one thousand miles on the odometer? extremely common issue.
@@thegoddessofbread6535 I had a 2015 tundra and it left me on the side of the road. I sold it. Toyota is just like the rest of them.
@@III1IlIIlIllIl congrats, one toyota. I'm talking MULTIPLE vehicles. It's not a coincidence.
gotta say as a nugetteer myself im loving the car content! would love to see more of the work being filmed if possible on future nuggets 😁
I’m genuinely curious to know how often you and James work together on these cars! I remember in one of your DankPods vids, you’ve mentioned that you’ve hired him for some of the car fixes, but I was wondering if he still does his own car work outside of these nugget fixes!
Absolutely love your content by the way, genuinely my favorite channels on CZcams. Please keep gracing us with nugget car vids!
The sound after you installed the muffler is actually sounds really good imo
This was a fun video to watch! And if I'm completely honest, I think the new exhaust sounds better! :P The old one didn't sound bad, but the new one just sounds a lot cleaner!
Hearing the mighty roar of the V8, your laugh. Then the reminder that its straight piped. Instant sub and like from me mate. Loving the vid
Absolutely love the car content
Would like to see a bit more of the process
And more JAMES!!!!!
Would love more videos of Aussie cars, we didn't get cool stuff like this in the United states they're so cool
