Nearly half of per capita income in Poland is generated from EU transfer payments and private capital that follows EU transfers. They just cannot afford to leave the EU and never will (!), ...not until the transfers stop. But that would result in an income collapse resulting in much bigger problems.
Peoples should begin to start voting to leave that EU regime before it destroys all countries in Europe.

@@keramave776 It’s not as simple as you think. Higher oil prices coming would mean renewable electricity will be more expensive and more profitable for generators. Though for those with their own solar will have low costs for recharging. Long term ICE vehicles will have higher costs because oil companies have mastered manipulation of energy prices. Pick your poison.

Battery technology does not yet have the longevity, infrastructure or convenience for mass roll out everywhere. Some experts have reported that suitable technology is at least 5 years off and probably longer (based on the "hope" strategy!). It seems that we are being forced to run before we can crawl. Ironically, new combustion cars have never been cleaner, especially diesels (work of the devil apparently!) 😆😆😆

As for the rules to potentially confiscate personal
vehicles, and perhaps other personal possessions
if individuals, under the guise of national
defense, I suspect most Polish citizens , will see
this as the latest example of government
overreach. I would be surprised if most
citizens wouldn’t be outraged by this latest
law. It would not be surprising if there was
major pushback by the public against such
new regulations! We have something
similar that was adopted without any public
debate or scrutiny, a number of years ago.
It was passed very quietly, without any debate
in our Senate or House of Representatives,
as the constitution requires. I don’t think most
Americans would be happy to learn about
this, and as such the passage of this new
regulation was done largely in secret. They do
a lot of things like that I’m the U.S. , to avoid
any scrutiny that might prevent such rules
from being implemented in the first place.
These unfair regulations are usually claimed
to protect our national security , during time
of war or natural disasters, but many of us
realize this is simply a way to limit personal
freedoms and personal sovereignty! We sadly
have the same incompetent fools running
things in the U.S., as also exists in the
leadership of the E.U. and it’s member states.
All these jerks use the same playbook from
which to determine, how best to limit the
personal liberties and freedoms of the
respective citizens of each country.
With regard to potential compulsory conscription and national service , I don’t think most
Polish citizens will be particularly pleased about
that either. Again a further power grab by the
government to limit what its citizens can and
cannot do. We will just have to see if most
will comply with these new rules, time will
tell. I think most Europeans and Americans
are quite fed up with the overreach of their
governments, into their personal lives, and they have had enough of these shenanigans!!!
Our leaders lack the common sense to have
figured this out.
The EV issue also has many problems and
logistical and technical shortcomings in the
U.S., just on a much larger scale than what
Poland is facing. The targets set in the U.S.
will be nearly impossible to meet , within
the timeframes already established by our
government. None of us is surprised that
the geniuses who create these timelines
are not at all realistic in their
expectations about achieving them. This is
a combination of shortsightedness,
incompetence, arrogance and hubris, with
many headaches resulting for all of us in the
end. They never do seem to fully consider
the consequences of their actions in
advance, before implementing these often
hair-brained schemes! It will be interesting
to see how these problems will be resolved
here and in Europe?

In the US armaments related public expenditure many times takes precedence over peace related spending. I think in the EU in Poland they will also have to make choices. Garrisons and new shiny American made weapons or networks of EV charging stations.
