After watching this recap, the main story points make sense and actually seem alright, I just think they really fucked up the execution. As the saying goes its not about the destination its about the journey. The destination is fine, but the journey was god awful.
@@icaruspyrrhos It all starts with Daenerys turning into a villain at the last second. Similar arcs were made before but written infinitely better. I don't know what the fuck happened but they clearly did not put the same love into it. Also the dragon burning the throne is the most heavy handed nonsense I've ever had the misfortune of witnessing.

I appreciate that you turned the brightness WAAAY up for all the Winterfell and especially the Long Night scenes! It was so damn dark when I watched it the first time...
Also the whole enemies connected to the main villain's WiFi is so damn cliche, what is this, the first Avengers movie?
They wanted to emphasize the saying "the night is dark and full of terrors". I guess that means turning down hte brightness??

I just watched all the GOT recaps back to back. I didn’t realize it was the same guy until more than half way through, LOL!! It was fun watching the evolution of his delivery and overall improvement. And of course seeing how much HE changed! Good stuff! Hilarious! Entertaining!!
After watching recaps from other channels, I thought having an overlay of someone in the video is going to be unnecessary and annoying but hey, I ended up very much enjoying your style of recap instead of just retelling the show's events verbatum. Ha, yup one of my biggest complaints of season 8. The writing was too late to fix, but the editors could have literally done what I did and brightened the winterfell battle with like 3 button presses.

Cool I never watched the very last episode. Nice to know how it ended and that I didn't go through the pain of watching that.
It is such an insane concept to me how the show went from 6 seasons of amazing to absolute trash for the final one. Not one main character arch ended in a way that made sense. It's like the writers said "What is the most random way we can end this character's story?"
Well it did have problems at the last couple of seasons nothing is beating the finale season in how bad it was

Season 8: The night that was dark and full of errors.
I literally had to turn off my living room lighting, and adjust my TV just to be able to see it. This is what happens when you rush things into “completion.”
The Xbox 360 was also the poster child of that in 2005 as well.
