Video Description: Sports poster designs, this time for F1 racing Lando Norris. I wanted to try my hand at adding.a few more elements than the usual for a manipulation poster. Just in time for the Spanish Grand Prix results where lando placed podium.

I think everything is amazing expect the colour of the fence to the left; imo it needs to be a bit warmer so it looks like it fits with the rest of the design. Great video as always though 👍

As a graphic designer, I have to say these posters are much harder to create then it looks. I always want to create something similiar to these posters and then I find out it is not that easy :DD Also as a huge F1 fan I love to see you doing F1 themed graphics.
I do give myself only an hour to make these guys which I don’t advertise anymore but I may need to just do rounds haha
Love the idea and composition of the piece, Seso! From my experience, creating sports posters with an environment-based focus really comes alive through the use of manually added shadows and highlights, along with sufficient depth.
For shadows and highlights, I typically use multiple exposure layers, subtly blending them to create a cohesive look. Adjusting the colours to match and ensuring there's a main light source-even if it's not perfectly realistic-can help draw focus and enhance the overall cohesion.
Achieving depth doesn’t always require a blur effect; you can create separation through elements like smoke or hazy light to give the impression of distance. It’s a process of trial and error with the lighting to achieve a unified feel. Remember, you don’t always need harsh shadows or intense light-sometimes, less is more.

@@SesoHQ Beauty of design is it doesn't have to make sense! I think added atmosphere to the entire comp and car, plus lots of small lighting work,, layered up would've defiantly helped take it that step further.

The f1 car looked strange to you because the direction of the light did not match. I think you were on the right track, you just needed to spend a little more time :D other than that your effort is really admirable.

The “NORRIS” is throwing me off a little bc I can’t read “IS”. If it was just to the left a little and a bit smaller it would fit in the dark part
