I enjoyed seeing some behind the scenes plus how an artist works.
You should take three of these and sell it as one batch. Everyone needs small buildings like these .you could do two sets a year and never catch up to the kit of the month production. I don't believe the kit of the month people would mind if it was far enough behind and in sets of three. Anyway a great video I don't know how all of these ideas keep coming.
Another brilliant video, really interesting and enjoyable, thank you and all the best Anthony
Very Cool Doug! Thank You for sharing a look behind the scenes, very interesting.
Awesome video! So cool to see the design process! Thank You!
Loved it. Watching your process makes me want to crank up my CAD and make my own kit. Good stuff.
Great video Doug! I’ve always wondered how these kits were designed and built. I’ve done many sketches of my own and understand completely about mental drafting blocks as you try to design architectural elements. Enjoyed watching these techniques with better comprehension. Thank you for sharing these finer elements of the hobby.
Wow, so cool watching the process! Loved watching you sketch out the ideas. Thanks for sharing!
It's really cool seeing the design process, and for somebody like me who can't draw a straight line, it's especially enlightening to see how "easy" it is for your mind to sketch new and unique creations. Love the Kit-of-the-Month club!
Very cool process. Thanks for sharing this.
Very interesting, Doug! Thanks for the secret sauce reveal ☺
Doug, great insight into your creative process, very impressive.
Then the process of translating a sketch into an actual cut piece of scale lumber. Wow, sooo cool.
Thank you for sharing, cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Hi !!! Very cool !!!👍
Thanks for sharing this, Doug. Cool to see what goes into your thought process making these kits.
Thanks for showing how you work !!! I enjoy seeing your models/kits although they are from a different time period and place than I model which is small town1914. Assuming that is AutoCAD LT which is what I started with but moved on to Rhino 3D back in 2003 so I could design for 3D printing. Great to see you starting with sketches ! Looking forward to more of your videos!
Fascinating…enjoyed peeking behind the curtain.👍🏻👍🏻
Great little look behind the scenes! Would welcome more of these!
Awesome! Thanks for showing us a behind the scenes look at how you create a kit. You’re quite the artist, and it shows with your fantastic kits!
Thanks John!
Great look into the design process behind these

Fascinating! Keep it going! I have a few of your kits. Enjoy them and they fit my style of modeling.
Very cool. Can't wait to see more
This is a lot like how I compose music. At least, if I'm doing an art song, I'm working from the poem I chose to set, I have to stay within the vocal range of the voice type (or, if I'm composing for a specific singer, their vocal nuances). Sometimes it writes itself, other times it takes weeks.
It gets there when it gets there, he process itself has always been interesting.
this was great love seeing how you think and work keep up the good work
Very neat look into your brain Tug. Like this alot. Keep up the good work myb frend.
Doug è bello vederti creare✏️✏️📝🚂
Oh no... the magic is gone... just kidding.. love these kits. cant wait to get my next order.

So cool!
Great Video !!!!! Back 25 years ago, I used to know Autocad..... forgot most of it now....☹️
Very interesting
Berry interesting
Nice video, thanks for sharing! Would you ever share how you design/print your detail parts?
Cool video Doug, would you be open to offering any mid century modern, specifically googie style buildings? I know it doesn’t really fit your line of kits, but there is a huge void in the hobby for that style of architecture.
My best selling kits were ideas I found going through Doug's trash in the middle of the night.
@5:31 I spy with my little eye, 2013 ish Oyster Hill up near the ceiling.
...collecting dust!
@@FosScaleModels at least you built yours 😂 mine is still in the box and is collecting dust.
Very interesting, Doug! How long does it take to become profishent at using a Laser Cutter?
Do you make n scale models?
