Also clove's genus _Syzygium_ has many nice sounding species; Roseapple, Lillypilly, Waterbessie, Satinash, Bellfruit...

Could you do a video on clipping their nails? I have had my breeders since August and don't know how to clip their nails safely. I have heard it is okay to use dog nail clippers but there are several kinds and I don't want to hurt them or waste $$

Hey! Can I ask how you evaluate what face shape to breed? Half of my rabbits have long faces, and half of them have flatter faces.
ARBA’s Standard of Perfection lays out specifics on what to look for in the head and ears. I tend to go with the fuller, puffier cheeks. That type of head on a silver fox or Creme body seems to balance out much better.
@@TealStoneHomestead I too go with the puffier cheeks, that’s what I and my customers prefer. Ordered the SOP finally.
I feel you on stupid people on the Internet who have opinions and want to throw them in your face. If we kept every rabbit we would be breeding some weird and otherwise bad confirmation along with health issue rabbits. And you probably wouldn’t be able to walk anywhere without seeing a rabbit even in the cities there would be so many! It’s hard to distinguishIn your mind that’s some thing so cute that you put so much time into can be a food stock in the end But people need to realize that even without human intervention most of the rabbits that we decide to cull for The better of the herd would probably pass away in the wild and Most of us breeders because I can’t speak for a mall do it in the fastest and humanist way possible
The way I describe it to my son is that I give them the best care possible and love them with everything up until that point and I do not waste any portion of them. We use the fur can we use the bones for our dogs or for other peoples pets we eat the meat etc. everything is used so that the rabbit did not die for no reason. But I know there’s still a lot of people who will judge for that and say that it’s unnecessary or animal abuse. But breeders do their best to not see their animals suffer when they’re doing it right. And I may not have seen you in person or 24 sevenBut I can sure tell that you have care for every animal that passes through your property and your breeding facility, so I want you to know you’re doing an amazing job and screw with any other dumb people want to say to you to try to make you upset or irritated.
