I’m not even a Lions fan, but I’m hoping this team becomes a serious Superbowl contender no one deserves it more than the Lions fans
True
as a lifelong lions fan i care barely believe it myself this season. we sucked so bad for so long other fanbases are giving us the charity praise lmao
@@12kh45it’s crazy how easily noticeable the difference is though. Even with Barry and Herman or Calvin and Stafford I never had this kind of confidence. When Patterson missed from 52 in TB, I didn’t even sweat it. Didn’t blame him and wasn’t worried. In past years, i would have had a brain aneurysm and i’m sure I don’t need to add, they would have lost.
@@12kh45for real! I really appreciate other fan bases not trying to ruin this for us lol
@@12kh45Hey man, everyone loves an underdog. I became a fan after they lost to Seattle last year. I knew you guys had something special and as a Vikings fan, I’m just happy it’s anyone but the Packers
As a life long Detroit resident, it’s so cool to see the lions finally being talked about, and not as a joke or less than 20 seconds as a “eh they’re the lions you know em let’s move on”
Paul Allen: “This is not Detroit!!!”
Detroit Lions: “And we took that personally.”
Dude it's crazy. At my workplace, I see customers come in with Lions jackets and hoodies and hats and just all kinds of merch constantly. In the past I rarely saw that but now? There are people everywhere signaling nothing but genuine excitement and interest in how they do this season. Like, even if we don't destroy everyone this season, I will be happy as a Detroiter knowing that the Lions got to be an actual contender for the title of strongest team in an NFL season.
It's funny. In the past, I never watched football in any serious capacity. I saw games and watched quite a few with my grandfather but when I watched I didn't even know how the game worked entirely. The only things I really truly understood as concepts were the line of scrimmage, laterals, and like, the obvious components like touchdowns and field goals (I also didn't know why teams sometimes kicked for field goals instead of just going for a TD, that's how bad it was)
Now, just a year later, I could tell you virtually anything about football. I still don't understand deeper concepts like strategy or play constructions, but I know a lot more than I used to.
I don't know, I find it a bit funny that this year, the year some random Detroiter decides to learn the grit and clockwork of gridiron football, the Lions come out as a behemoth team. It FEELS like fate.
I’ve always said I’d pay attention to pro football when Detroit gets a pro football team.
I’ve said it as a joke, but now I might have to start eating my words.
Never in my lifetime as a lions fan has the team been talked about like this. It's incredible.
I'll bet you're bursting with joy, I am so happy for you guys. Go Lions! 🎉
Can’t wait till the Titans are the talk if the town
Never doubted the team for a minute even with the Gibbs pick over Jalen Carter yes I tried to hang myslef but I never doubted for a minute!!
@@matador2554hopefully it won’t take as long for y’all as it did for the Lions 😂😅
@@primaluniverse8089 they were the talk of the town in the late 90s and early 2000s
Realistic hopes I had for my team going into this season were winning the division and one or maybe two playoff wins. It’s incredible to see them being one of the most consistent teams in the entire NFL right now.
Realistically y’all have a great shot of getting the one seed this year. Really hope to see y’all in the Superbowl for a week 1 rematch😂
Done in WC they aren't beating Dallas
@@deemity7557no the fuck they dont
@@J0hnRatcliffe Shiii I don't know, man. I'm a Cowboys fan and even I think Detroit is playing much better than us atm. Things change and the season is long but Detroit is going to be a tough out in the playoffs.
@@J0hnRatcliffe😂😂
Detroit is not my team but they allowed us to make Ford Field our second home last season during that snow storm. So yeah I'm rooting.
Yo I completely forgot about that lmao, Bills always got a spot in my heart since the Bills and Lions used to be pretty similar a few years ago...
As a Rams fan I am thankful for the Stafford trade and the immediate Super Bowl win but I am happy to see the Lions being successful! I hope y’all have a really deep playoff run!
That is one of the few trades that both sides benefited significantly from. Stafford and the Rams won a championship, Goff got a change of scenery that allowed him to regain his spark, and Detroit got the pieces necessary for the current success.
goff looks great in detroit, like in his breakout seasons under mcvay. Great to see him suceed and especially with the lions who endured enough pain over the last years
I’m a lions fan. I have to say this was a great and respectable trade for everyone. The Rams gave up a lot to win the Super Bowl but that was the point. Go Rams!!!! And right now Go Lions!!!!!
Rams fraud alert
Thanks 👍🏾
I'm a Bears fan myself and even I'm excited for the Lions, one of the few teams in the NFC that, if they do make it all the way, actually FULL on deserves every bit of success they have.
As a lions fan, I respect this. Wishing nothing but success in the chi
as a Packers fan, yall both still suck
This just why the nfc north trash over here rooting for each other teams 🤣🤣🤣
@@manolopmb dude, it's because we ALL equally hate Green Bay and any time GB loses to a division opponent, it's cause for celebration 😅
Besides that, the Lions were basically the Cubs before Dan Campbell got there - the lovable losers who always tried but never could - and to actually have a representative from the North that DOESN'T have fucking cheese on their head is a literal godsend...not to mention, of all the NFC North rivalries, the Lions-Bears one is probably the weakest one of them all, so we really have no reason to hate on them 🤷♂️
I can also guarantee you that MANY AFC East fans felt the same type of way the last two decades.
Not a lions fan but I’ve always rooted for them ever since that 0-16 season years ago. They were always the laughing stock in the nfl. Now they have one of the most dangerous teams and it’s cool to see! Lions only weakness is they have an avg pass defense but other than that they’re basically stacked. Really hoping they continue to have success. Everyone loves an underdog story.
As a lions fan of over 30 years, watching how this team has gone from a laughing stock to a strong force to fear every week I couldn't be happier. Watching them every Sunday I am actually happy and excited rather than hopeful and disappointed. Even if we don't make it this year it's amazing seeing this team growing so well.
I hear that. I’m excited as hell on Sunday, now. Used to be just Saturday for Michigan football. Best 2 teams in the sport right now.
The other thing that makes lions impressive is that they are winning games while being banged up. Decker missed two games, jonah jackson missed last week. Vaitai has not played since week 2. Josh Paschal has not played since week 1. Gibbs missed 2 games. Montgomery is going to miss some time after exiting the bucs game. Jamo was suspended the first four games. Branch missed two games. CJGJ is out for a while and Mosely is out for the season. Oh and James houston is gone for a while too. And on top of that the first half of the season was our hardest part and here we are sitting at 5-1.
Exactly what I’ve been saying to people trying to hate on us …. We’re the best team in my eyes because not only is our record top 3 but our defense and offense is also and we’ve been playing with 2nd and 3rd string players 🤷🏽♂️ when 9ers lost their 2 best offensive players they lost the game also and the eagles will self sabotage themselves
Let’s be real though, every team is banged up rn
Bro!! 🔥🔥 On damn point!
@@Kyle-bi7df yea but the point is that some teams, like the 49ers, tend to lose games when they deal with injuries
@@Kyle-bi7df we’ve literally been banged up since week2 we lost KEY players and have still been able to win games
For the first time as a lions fan, I feel confident in this team. I don't get worried even with the injuries because of the way this team is constructed top to bottom. From Sheila all the way to the last PS player, we have dogs and go getters who aren't scared of any time right now. They also play with a Detroit Vs Everybody mentality now and with much more confidence than previous regimes.
Happy for yah Man U guys did things right
its crazy how many people discredited the KC win because of their injuries yet ignore the big injuries detroit has had, especially during road games.
Last year Ben Johnson had something like 4 letters to become head coach for organizations but said he wanted to stay with the lions and win.
Hoping he has the same attitude this year.
He was the top candidate to go to the Panthers, but he declined the job. It is believed that after Reich said that Tepper was heavily involved in the team drafting process (Reich is believed to have wanted Stroud, Tepper made them go Young) and the team in general. That was a huge reason speculated on why Ben declined the offer.
Not to mention Dan Campbell makes me want to run through a brick wall every time he speaks. I’d go to war for that man and I’m not even a Lions fan
One thing you should have mentioned is that the Lions aren't even fully healthy right now. CJGJ got injured against the Falcons and is out for the season. Jamyr Gibbs and Brian Branch both got injured during/after the Packers game and haven't played since. St. Brown didn't play against Carolina, and Emanuel Mosely tore his right ACL on his first snap back from tearing his left ACL last year. Montgomery went out in the first quarter against the Buccs. And they are still one of the most dominant teams in the league despite that.
My best friend growing up was a die hard Lions fan he had season tickets for many years, but passed away two years ago. Such a shame he never lived to see the Lions good. Born after the 1950s.
your friend is in heaven and I assure you he has the best seat in the house to watch the lions take the super bowl this year.
Packers fan here and I've been seeing this on the horizon the past 2 seasons. Tough mean and very complete team to look out for. Props Lions, it's your time in NFC North right now and I hope you can make a strong playoff push. 👍
As a lions fan, I appreciate that cheese head. Respectfully of course ;p
My dad has had season tickets to the Lions for over 30 years and has never been to a playoff game. I have grown up going to lions games my whole 25 years of life. I cannot express to you how ecstatic I am about this current lions team. Knowing they are actual Super Bowl contenders this year is hard to even comprehend.
Honestly is very nice to see the Lions having this success it has been a long time since that happen, many many years of being one of the worts teams in the league but finally they have hope, I belive in them to win the division and to finally win a playoff game, very deserved after all this rough years
Azle Lions fan who has eaten up all sorts of film analysis and draft analysis for years and years it's so crazy and heartwarming to see all of these channels turn around and cover them positively
I have been watching the Lions since the mid 60's, yes I am that old. I have seen them do a lot of things, Including winning their first 4 and then blowing the rest of the season. So forgive me if I do not Jump for joy or start looking for flights, tickets, and rooms for the Superbowl. I want to believe, but have had my hopes crushed dozens of time.
I go back to Karras, Joe Schmidt as coach and terrible Russ Thomas also. But I encourage you to believe. Were to old to be scared of failure of this team.
They have true leaders who are not afraid to talk about Being a Champion. And their backing up their talk.
They may not win the Super Bowl but they will be in the mix.😊
@@Roy-mw5js I am no scared, I am realistic, actually I do think that they have a great chance this year. A lot will depend on the health of the team and if the refs continue to be somewhat neutral.
I’m a Washington fan and before the season I picked the 49ers to go to and win the Super Bowl. I thought the Lions would get to and go far in the playoffs. As of now I feel they are the best team in the NFL. I really hope they win the Super Bowl. That would be so awesome. Dan Is the best coach in football and Goff redeemed himself.
Since I'm a Ravens fan, I'm obviously hoping they go to 5-2 this week ... but after that? Gosh, I hope they make the Super Bowl. They really feel similar to the Orioles for me, but for Football. A historically mediocre to bad franchise with a handful of standout players in the past, finally turning the corner and creating a legendary few years ahead? I'd be really happy for them. So let's go Lions in the NFC!! Just not this week lol ..
The Ravens own the Lions. Kinda like the Seahawks owning them too. I think the Lions are the better team but its just one of those match ups they tend to lose
Rooting for the O’s next year
@@Rizzlamatt what are you talking about?? they’ve played like one time in the Dan Cambell era and that was 2 years ago
I feel like the whole NFL is rooting for the Lions to go to the Super Bowl.
Lions are a team that want to grind your team into the ground. In every game so far teams start strong and by the rth quarter look like they are just exhausted playing against us. They are gonna make any team work for every yard. Its fun to watch and us life long lions fans are excited to have a team to be proud of.
the lions are contenders, while the patriots are ass. what a time to be alive
Both Lions coordinators are going to get interview by teams this off season. They're both doing such a good job that team cannot help but take notice and open their checkbook.
As an Eagles fan, I hate this. We are missing Steichen.
@@KK-eg3emno worries, he's really been welcomed by the Colts fans.
There’s a 0.0000000% chance Ben Johnson is with the lions again next year😂
I can't help but feel like they are this year's version of last year's Eagles. Strong Offense that slowly came on the year before with a top five offensive line and top 5 pass rush with great coaching on both sides of the ball. They even both have great GMs. Now, the eagles probably had more firepower than the Lions do, but I feel like the Lions also won't run into the Chiefs if they do make the superbowl. I would see them falling to the 49ers in the championship however.
Nooooooo @@brennancrocker9388
Seattle is 3-0 against Goffs Lions. But yes, they are good, but the Seahawks seem to always win against them.
Thats only because of the defense wasn’t pressuring, other then that Playoff coming
I've been a Lions fan all my life, and it's so weird to be in the Super Bowl/NFC Championship conversation. I still have that thought in the back of my mind that they're gonna "pull a Lions" moment and choke up these games. It's a great feeling to be proven wrong, Holmes/Campbell is the best thing to happen to this franchise. I love this team
The weakness is the cornerback core. We didn’t get much pressure against Seattle because for some reason we played contain with Geno and their wr dominated our corners except for Sutton. I think we are an elite CB away from being arguably the best team and potentially defense in the league. Add a Pat Surtain to this roster and it will be dominant
Pass rush in that game was nowhere to be found too.. We should not have lost that game
@@jalynski that was because as I said that we were doing contain with Geno rather than rush after him.
Not to mention that the corner depth is terrible. If either Sutton or Jacobs get hurt then we’ll definitely have a weak spot
@@blueleader392 indeed
12 year lion’s fan here, it almost feels unreal to see detroit compete… 313 strong💯
I think the Matthew Stanford trade was probably one of the most mutually beneficial trades we’ve seen this era
THE RAMS WON THE SUPERBOWL AND THE LIONS HAVENT MADE THE PLAYOFFS WITH GOFF YET WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT
@@ravens4207 It's the fact that the Lions were going nowhere with Stafford. Since that trade, the Lions were able to get Goff plus the two first-round picks. Which they were able to acquire Gibbs and Jamo. That trade-up set up the Lions to setup a team with a top-5 offense and was able to get Goff to start playing better than his prime with the Rams. This season, they have a chance of making a deep playoff run and possibly the SB. I think that is a win-win.
@@Zoned_Out they only got that second first so Detroit would take goffs albatross contract
@@Zoned_Out also they have the same chance of winning the sb as the cardinals
@@ravens4207 bro how you already salty about the Ravens getting kicked around next week??? It hasn’t even happened yet 🤣 lmfao
By moving back and selecting jehmer gibbs at 12, they also got sam lapaorta with that pick they received in the trade. So if you want to compare it's gibbs/laporta v Carter
Very happy for this team… Dan Campbell is a man’s man
Plot twist. He’s actually gay.😂
Whatever they offer Ben Johnson we gotta make him stay dude he’s so smart
I don't think I can remember the last time an NFL team had this kind of depth. I was a little worried with all the injuries and the early Montgomery injury against a hot Tampa team coming off a bye week. But that win showed us that the entire team is filled with absolute DAWGS. This isn't a superstar driven team and next man up seems to be a lifestyle now. This is how you succeed long term, winning in the trenches and depth at every position. Shit we even have QB depth with Teddy at backup it's kinda crazy.
As a ravens fan I am nervous for next week. Hopefully it'll be a good game.
We gotta pay y'all back for that no call
Don’t be nervous. Lions aren’t ready for our defense. Humphrey and Williams getting healthier and ramped up in the secondary. Were tied 1st in sacks in the NFL and have the league’s best LB duo. Im thinking 20-17 or 24-17 Baltimore.
@Majority999 you guys aren't ready for our defense. Should be a good game though.

I will say, if the Lions win a Superbowl, you’ll never see a more lit fanbase than ours. We’re already all over the place and that was off the hype of the offseason and first game. Now imagine if we win the whole thing. I can actually guarantee that if the Lions make Super Bowl, that you’ll see wayyy more Lions fans than whatever AFC team is there.
We will take over Vegas
Extremely happy for the Lions 🦁
Who, aside from the rest of the NFC North, could root against the Lions? They are currently the best feel-good story in the NFL
As a life time lions fan, this has been my favorite season of football since Matty was throwing to #81
The Lions really only have 2 more significant threats on their schedule - the Ravens & Cowboys. Not to look past the other games, but if they continue the level of play we've seen since week 9 of last season, those are honestly the only teams I have any worry about.
Chargers are dangerous when Herbert is on. and for what it’s worth, the lions have never had any easy time beating the Vikings at their place.
@@blueleader392 They haven't had any problem beating anyone in their place lately. 🤷♂
U forget if lions will have to face eagles in nfc championship in philly
Eagles
As a lifelong Lions fan (I'm 74) I have had my heart broken many times by false hope. As they are playing spectacular lately, I will just enjoy the ride with no expectations. However, it's fun so far.
Its nice to see so many Lions fans so optimistic. This upcoming Ravens game should be good, but keep in mind the Ravens face the Bengals 2 times a season as division rivals. So seeing a good corp of WRs is nothing new to their defense... Enjoy the game.

*_GO RAVENS!_*
This is all Facts. Goff already has St.Brown and Laporta to go along with his other speedy surehanded underrated receivers like Raymond and Reynolds. Now they are getting Gibbs and Jameson Williams going. Phewww. By week ten the offense should be running on all cylinders. Scary thought. This doesn’t even take into account how they have played with all the injuries to there starters so far this year. They are absolutely rolling right now. And it’s only going to get better.
If Laporta wasn't so big he could be a WR thats why he's so deadly. He puts pressure on the short/mid field but can also go long if they need him to.
And now with Jamo back to stretch the field things will only get easier for him.
Bro, I"m SO glad you added the play at the 11:40 mark with Jamo! Bcuz it is the prime example of how dangerous this offense can be in the passing game. The more reps he gets, the more Goff will see how open he gets on plays, in conjuncioun with This offense. He was open for the TD if Goff had thrown to him. Which is why they went back to him later. With Jamo AND Gibbs on the field at the same time with the others..... This Offense Is Truly Dangerous!
Great video! Looking foreward to what you're cooking next
I think we win 10-12 games And make the playoffs.. Anything more than that is awesome 🤘
One of your best videos, great analysis of their superpower: 1 - cowing down any running ambitions. 2 - their agile and versatile passing game. Just me: I've always rooted for Jared Goff, whom I find much more deserving than his profile suggests. Thanks !
Thanks Jean!
Great story for Detroit, I would love to see this franchise win it all.
Without a doubt the most popular success story in the league right now from non-fans. NFC North especially - as a Bears fan, this team having the chance to go to the NFCCG makes me brimming with excitement and I bet you Vikings-country people are in the same boat (FTP!!!).
Your very last sentence says it all - winning games before they start because of buy-in and culture. The Bears may well have the worst culture in all of North American sports, so I can accept that we'll be perennial talent-wasting bottom-feeders like the Lions were for so long, and the script will just take time to flip. Maybe in the 2030s the Bears will get their own Dan Campbell and be able to rise from the toxic waste dump that is their organization (and once somebody shows up to Virginia McCaskey's house with garlic and a cross).
Im a diehard bears fan, im even rooting for the lions.
Other than the lack of a truly ELITE presence, this team is absolutely phenomenal. In a way, Dan Campbell and Jared Goff are the perfect pair of faces to lead this franchise, and you can tell how they have helped each other grow and improve, as well as how masterful Ben Johnson’s offense is. Kudos to what is the most impressive turnaround I have seen in my life. It wasn’t one superstar, but a couple of years of improving here and there, until building a monster of a team
Too soon bro... TOO SOON 😂😂😂😂
Lions can definitely be a 12 or 13 win team. If Goff can get them at least 1 playoff win, I think they should start talking about an extension. Hopefully it doesn’t end up like the last one however
A multi year Jared Goff extension would be the nail in the coffin for this team
bucs had 2 open deep balls overthrown by inches, it was much closer than 20-6, but yeah shoulda woulda coulda
Baker Mayfield was under an immense amount of pressure from the Lions Defense.
@@AFlyingMayMay very true, still on these aforementioned deep balls it was a matter of not knowing his recievers speed and also innacuracy deep. just saying the game was closer than the score implies, still the lions are a force to be admired.
I’ll believe it when they don’t blow a game in the postseason. Cheering for them though.
One thing you should add for the Lions is their punter Jack Fox. He pinned Tampa deep twice. That setup the defense and helped them be even more effective. So even if the don't score on a drive, they have a punter who can set you within your own 10 yardline against a defense that is fantastic against the run. So even if you win the battle by getting a stop, the reward is a 90+ yard drive to score a touchdown. As you saw, they couldn't score one last weekend.
Yeah..they ARE a problem for the NFL...who hates Detroit... small markets aren't good for their look. All the mysterious penalty flags against the Lions all these years...its not by accident. But we'll just keep winning to silence all the haters.🦁🔥🏈
Not a problem for The Ravens, 38 to 6
From a Packer fan, Congrats Lions
or should I say PRETENDERS!! and
EXPOSED!!! FEELS SO GREAT.
Or maybe the Ravens are just a really good team?
Great video but just had to mention Carter was taken at 10 & the Lions couldn't have taken him at 12 unless they were aggressive, definitely could have taken Nolan Smith though but Branch 2nd round makes up for it imo
They had the 6th pick but traded with Arizona to 12 for a extra second rounder. Can’t remember if it was the pick we used to get Laporta or Branch but either way a W in my book. I wanted Carter but there’s a reason 9 teams passed on him given his talent
The Lions traded down from 6 with the Cardinals, and the Lions go with the 2nd round pick to get LaPorta for trading down. Carter is great, but a lot of the team passed due to his off-field issues and the fact that he showed up overweight. Carter couldn't have landed in a better spot with the Eagles, considering that they already had a great D-line and that it was filled with veterans that would keep him in check. There is also proof that on draft day, Carter called the Eagles, begging them to draft him and saying that he would make them not regret the choice and that he would fix his issues.
I'm a Bills fan but if the Lions won it all that'd be easy to see in my lifetime
I was always a low-key lions fan, back when Stafford was the QB, though Pats were still my fav. Neat that they're good now.
The people that knock the Gibbs pick. I don’t think they realize they traded down from 6 to 12 with Arizona. That 2nd they got in that trade turned into Laporta and gave them the ammo to trade up to get Brian branch over the packers.
Dmo has been injured twice now, and hopefully Gibbs is back for week 6 against the Ravens. It's great to know that we will have a great RB to keep going even if Dmo is out for a while, and the reps will allow him to get more comfortable with the game.
@@Zoned_Out elite O-line in Detroit I think it’s a matter of time for Gibbs and Ben Johnson to figure it out.
@@nicholasvanbrunt6631 It also helps that Jamo is back, and it will allow Gibbs to catch inside throws since the defenses will have to respect Jamo's deep threat.
Move #1 that led to the turnaround: firing Matt Patricia. Best move the Lions could have made, getting rid of that prima donna.
I enjoy watching your videos....maybe use the word "Problem" less but fantastic content.
i am from minnesota, i love all minnesota sports teams except for the vikings, i hate the vikings. dont ask me why but for as long as i can remember i have been a lions fan. as a fan of minnesota sports and the detroit lions, i have learned to never let a sporting event ruin my day, if i did i would have a lot of heartache in my time following these teams. that being said, i have let games MAKE my day! this is the best that lions fans have felt in almost ever, most lions fans lifetimes at the very least. i’ve never let a lions loss ruin my day but you’re damn right i’ve let this team make my day in these last couple of weeks, we deserve it!!
It’s true the lions Run D is great this year but the Attempts stat is only respect but also that all teams have HAD to play catch up football with the Offence - meaning they’re passing to TRY for more explosive plays
This is not completely true; the Falcons are a run-heavy offense. They tried their hardest to get the run game going in the first half of the Lions game, but they failed, so they had to rely on Ridder's passing. Seeing a few of the Falcons games now, I can say Ridder is not great at passing.
Im a cowboys fan so obviously i want my team to win but if i have to pick a team other than them to root for its probably Detroit, or the jets.
I called it last season during the last-half winning stretch. Major credit to Brad holmes for choosing Dan Campbell, because Dan Campbell is the difference maker (along with OC/DC). He's raw, imposing, and full of will. And that culture has leaked into every facuet of this Lions squad. Doesn't matter if you're on the practice squad, the punter, or the starting QB. His players FIGHT and they're DAWGS
This is a diffrent year for the lions before they would lose in bad ways and lose to teams like the panthers we are winning the games we normally lose and got the name same old lions
Seeing this team on such a roll and looking like a serious threat right now really warms my heart, loved this team forever and excited for the future.
And they got slammed by the Ravens today, looked like absolute shit while doing it too.
I’ve been waiting a looong time for us to truly be good. I’m nothing but excited just a bit nervous that everyone has high hopes just scares me a little bit, but that being said In DC we trust. GO LIONS!
So hype for Detroit this year and even for years to come… I have been watching them lose for too long… this is our year 313
Thanksgiving is going to be a whole lot more interesting with the Lions having such a great season! BTW, my idea of a "Dream" Superbowl has always been a Detroit/Cleveland match up.
The Lions are the people's team. I'm Chiefs fan but I want the Lions to go all the way. They have been awesome and deserve all the respect.
Very happy that this team is turning around, long overdue
Talk about the chargers situation, they have a hall of fame caliber quarterback & really good players but can’t seem to make it click

The lions have my favorite nfl color pallette so i love thier games looking good now
The only thing that's for certain is that when they get their next loss (if they do), the pundits will write them off again.
Man, the right front office can really save a franchise.
As a Vikings fan i’ve been waiting for the lions to break out of mediocrity and make the north interesting instead either us or the packers being on top. Gl Detroit you deserve it!

The Detroit Lions are the greatest sports franchise to ever exist. They also make the best Kool-Aid and corn bread.
What I like about this team is that it shows that the system works.
Suck for 70 years, and your team, too, may get a CZcams video like this about how good they are.

Detroit @ Baltimore is a massive game.
I think the Lions will handle them more easily than people expect, but I could be wrong. Definitely a huge game
@@bretwilliams249 Who would handle who "easily" in this game?
Can't see that being realistic from either perspective
Edit: Misread your answer, my bad. Still don't see that as realistic thou
@@rasmus5341 only 'easily' in terms of how the handled the Bucs. Was supposed to be a 3 point game but Lions wound up winning by double digits again. That's all I'm getting at. I can see that being the result against Baltimore as well
@@bretwilliams249 I really struggle to see what you base it on.
Referring to a completely different team & game doesn't hold any substance.
If it's simply an opinion of yours and not a conclusion then we'll just leave it at that and I wish you all the best
@@rasmus5341 I said it was an opinion in the first place. What are you on about?
I hope they are at least 6-2 at the BYE & get the W on Thanksgiving
Been watching football for 34 years and the lions been legit once! As a Washington fan this gives me hope for my team cuz if the lonly lions can turn it around maybe we can too
