im no tech guy but wait so no one else has ever thought of making a mini vacuum/leaf blower before and still use compressed air?

Not a hepa filter, it just makes things more dirty, but with smaller dust

I would use on lenses and filters but not the sensor

all good, just don't use it on the camera sensor. Believe me, you will damage it.

Even at the lowest setting you think? Theres three different settings on this . The company claims its safe to use on sensors. 🤷🏼‍♂️

yeah sure they would claim that. But why risk it.

You always have a risk of scratching even if the company says the sensor can handle it. My cousin did the same thing with a hairdryer on cold and low power. Ended up scratching his sensor so theres a blurry spot and a scratch in the corner of pictures

@@JustinPhillip it's not about the air speed or pressure, it's about the microscopic particles that are too small to see but still large enough to scratch or even fully break microscopic components of the silicon die that make up the camera sensor. Unless that air is going through a massive HEPA filter (not just a small wire mesh) it _will_ damage the sensor, even if the damages aren't visible _at first_ small imperfections pile up until you get an image that is properly ruined. This kind of stuff is exactly why silicon fabs (the places computer chips are made in) are literally some of the cleanest places _on earth_ (literally called clean rooms, like that is the official classification for this kind of stuff), even cleaner than surgery rooms.
TLDR.: you will damage the sensor unless air is filtered through a special filter with actual ratings and datasheets, silicon is fragile, stay safe, be nice to tech
