It's been over 50 years since Bruce Lee died and not one single person has been able to replicate or better his fighting ability/style on the screen. That is something you cannot fake. He was 1 in 7 billion... never to be equalled.

There are some real A*+holes on CZcams when it comes to Bruce Lee, it makes my blood boil.
Those of us who grew up with Bruce know very well what an icon he is, the man is a legend and doesn't deserve to have the likes of Beerdy, Michael J White etc making a mockery and a laughing stock of him.
Of course people who know nothing of Bruce think it's correct what these awful channels are putting out like the ones you mentioned, it's so wrong!

The people who talk smack about Bruce Lee, saying he was more myth than real human being/real fighter really need to read The Wrath of the Dragon. Of course Bruce Lee wasn’t invincible or totally unstoppable. He is a human being. I love hearing and reading legit info about the real man and his achievements behind the myth and the cinematic image. There is sooooo much to learn and understand about Bruce Lee, his life and the indisputable contributions he gave to the world. We are still talking about him over 50 years since his passing. Your channel and Goldenbell, & Kung Fu Genius are my faves. I will be sure to check out the others you mentioned. Keep on doing all you do Stipey!
No matter where you live or where you go, the first name that pops up when you mention martial arts, it's Bruce Lee. He is by far the most influential person in history regarding martial arts. Much respect to him. 🙏

The thing that gets me is that people will focus on one extreme of him or the other. People need to remember that Bruce Lee was a human being with flaws, just like the rest of us. There's no denying he is an incredible man and accomplished more than a lifetime's worth, immortalizing him, but people seem to forget his human side. I hate to say it, but if Bruce were to ever return, the poor guy would not live up to all the hype, nor would all the hate feel too good. The interesting thing is, that "hate" was never as outspoken as it was until after his death. Weeeird, huh? Nothing but jealousy from irrelevant people, whether from his era or now. I'm glad there are people like you (and the other people you've mentioned) in this world, mate. Keep doing what you're doing and I wish you well.
Btw, I took a handful of Wing Chun lessons from a man who claimed to have authentic Yip Man lineage (his sifu trained with one of his sons), but he claims his sifu was 5x better than Bruce Lee. Not saying he's a liar, but that is fascinating. And he probably meant in Wing Chun only.

It's funny how they're brave enough to say they can beat Bruce in a fight after he's been dead for 50 years, but not when he was alive.
I was hoping you might have mentioned Tommy Carruthers, John Paul Daily or Thomas Marx for JKD information because Bruce’s art is pretty much gone at this point for the very same reason people talk crap about him. Whats being taught as JKD most of the time is stuff Bruce stopped doing or abandoned.
And Tommy who taught Thomas and John, is the only guy in my opinion that follows Bruce’s principles and he trained with Bruce’s first student, Jesse Glover for 20 years, as well as Ted Wong Bruce’s last private student, so he has a full picture of where Bruce started and where he took his martial art.
Chael and jai white say what that say because they don’t underhand what Bruce was doing. Most people don’t.

Imagine my surprise 😂 Keep doing these open and honest Bruce videos, they're informative and it's like chatting with a friend. I've never even heard of this Sha Solen (or whatever his name is), but from what you say him and his kind are complete wipes out to make money out of associating themselves with an originator who's been gone for half a century 🙄

Hello. You are absolutely right. There are many channels that repeats the same threads by means of various thumbnails. We often click on them, and then we are disappointed. Some people may say that it's cunning, but I would say it's just cheating. Now, something concerning Bruce Lee. In one of my books on Bruce Lee, he mentions the fight between two guys. One was small and slim and another one was a big man. Suddenly, the small fighter kicked his opponent in his thumb and the skirmish was over. A dislocated thumb made a big man faint. Bruce remembered that lesson. There are some points in our human flesh which are equally sensitive to all of us, whether you're big or small. Bruce was aware of his size, so he was ready to use any possible technique to survive when fighting a much bigger opponent, but he could use it only in a real fight not during a tournament simply because such techniques are not allowed. But Bruce also had another secret weapon - speed and reflex. Everybody used to say that his speed was incredible. We should remember that. Regards.

The thumbnails are horrible and disgusting to be honest. All the fake crap. This is the problem when you don’t have anyone fact checking things about Bruce, putting fake thumbnail up with fake headlines. It’s horrible.
To be honest I think Shannon Lee has done a terrible job putting a halt to this crap. Bruce has so much dis and misinformation about him it’s crazy.
And yes people can’t separate Bruce Lee the actor from Bruce Lee the martial artist.

Bruce was training with people bigger and heavier than him from various backgrounds all the time.
Ever notice how all the stories about Bruce don’t come from Bruce but by people who knew him?

Brilliant video Stripey. The loud voices who talk smack about Bruce Lee have done about 2 minutes worth of research (the movies). Loud & ignorant & let's face it they're not really interested in knowing the truth. There's certainly a hell of a lot of jealousy and envy in martial arts / combat.
When it come to the size/weight topic. Ask Kareem Abdul Jabbar how good Bruce was. 5'7 vs a 7'3. Kareems has stated on many occasions that Bruce posed more of a challenge fr him then vica versa. Can you do a video about Bruce Lee Biopics as well especially Birth of Dragon 2016 and Dragon the Bruce Lee story 1993. Another one is the 2008 TV series the legend of Bruce Lee, I think it has a lot frictional stories about Bruce Lee also I think it can too long to do a video about it because it is very long. Lastly is the Ang Lee biopic still gonna come or not because we have been waiting for almost 2 years now nothing its yet have been produced

Even in his movies you can see the greatness of Bruce Lee. Because even though he was only acting he had to be great to do the moves he did, like kicking the lightbulb hanging from the ceiling.
When he did the fight scene with Chuck Norris you can actually SEE the difference in calibre and quality. Bruce was much better than Chuck Norris. He was faster and more precise.

Hey, Stripey and Beerdy dropped a video not long ago discussing Bruce Lee's supposed fight with Joe Lewis. Turns out, it was a total fake! This video, falsely claiming to depict Bruce versus Joe, was actually made back in 1990. Instead of the iconic battle we thought we were watching, it was just a Russian army demo.
Can you believe it? The false Bruce Lee in the video even had long hair! Then, a few weeks later, he reposted the same clip but spun a completely different tale. And guess what? It racked up over 200,000 views. Absolutely mind-blowing.I posted the fake video saying its a fake but Beerdy Fans dident believe its a fake.

I was 5 years old in 1971 when I first saw The DRAGON in "The Big Boss" and it was love at first sight.
Im coming now to my 60's and my feelings haven't waned- in fact it grown stronger over the years-I still engaged in brutal feud over one particular has been "martial arts expert" whose one claim to fame was supposedly defeating THE MASTER in a fight. Total crap!and his proof was a Bruce clone-the mere mentioned of his name always drew a reaction from me that can be likened to a root canal.
There was nobody like The DRAGON...NO ONE SINCED.

In the early 70's in London's Chinatown i met many people who knew Bruce, they told me back then he would never die and would just continue to attract more and more fans. I will share one story with you. Bruce was eating in a restaurant in Kowloon he ate there regularly, one waiter was being rude to him and questioning his ability, Bruce Ordered an unopened can of Cola or soup, i can't remember exactly, looking puzzled the guy brought it to Bruce, it was put on the table , Bruce just extended his forefinger and jabbed straight through the top, then handed the can back, the guy just went pale and never upset Bruce again. I checked this story out when we were in Hong Kong in 2007 We stayed on Lan Tau island and got the ferry every day to the mainland, sure enough it was true, the old guy who i met sold me 2 original film posters from Way of and Boss, a lobby booklet on Boss showing it as a future attraction and a bunch of original black and white pictures from the funeral, he was an ex Golden Harvest cleaner, I was told there was foul play in his death too. About MJ WHITE beating Bruce, his "size matters" sentence may work in a fight between two regular guys fighting, but the fact that he said that it is a sure thing no matter if you are a real fighter or not is stupid.
