    My shop has always tuned my bow for me by adjusting the top hats. I finally have a press and a top hat set so I can do it myself from here on out.

    Great video. I recently got an EZ green press and it's been fun being able to adjust top hats to tune my V3 for my TAC arrows.

    Does your press have the 3” adapter kit for the wider limb bow bows or is it working fine without it?

      @TC-CustomZ-Archery  Před 8 měsíci +1

      No sir. It’s just a movable setup and fits the limbs with the stock fingers. 👊🏾

    I just bought a new bow after 11 years and just bought the Mathews lift 33” the shop I bought it from said they won’t do a complete tune until I shoot at least two hundred arrows out of it . What are your thoughts??

      Find a new shop. That's nonsense. They're either lazy or ignorant or both.

      @@josephhenderson7044 That's great to hear! When I first bought my bow I took it to my go to shop here in Reno. They had me shoot it through paper. They immediately changed out the top hats so that it shot perfect holes in paper with a fletched shaft. Any time I changed anything they did the same thing. I've recently upped my game to where I'm bare shaft tuning. I have my own press and a set of top hats. My new standard is bullet holes with a bare shaft at 8 yards and the bare shaft hitting right next to, and parallel with my fletched shaft at 20. It really make archery so much more enjoyable when your arrow flies nice and straight and you can make it do it on your own.

    If you're still not getting a bullet hole after swapping the top hats what would you do next, without moving your centre shot?

      If your grip is good, your arrow spine is good, and you don’t have fletchings contact see if your dealer will swap out your top hats for a bigger/smaller set of top hats. If not buy a top hat kit and use a bigger/smaller pair.

      @@bretheckenberger6044 they definitely know how to get every cent they can, that being said it's got to be one of the best bow's on the market.

      How bad is your tear? You can try micro tuning with the yolk system but usually it’s very small improvements. Usually it would come down to your rest tune to finish the tear whatever way you’re getting it.

    If this was a Bowtech or an Elite there would be no need to go through this, why spend $1,300 on a flagship and have to actually go through this, just does not make sense to me, just saying, and don’t forget to take that crappy uncomfortable grip off and put a Chris Bee/Ultraview on for another $100.
