    I'm so happy you posted this! It might sound ridiculous but my mom is the women dancer in the background and I love actually seeing her when she was young!! It's different! But this musical was fantastic! I wish they could've walked away with a Tony but Phantom was also a phenomenal show. I appreciate they singers, they are full of talent!!

      Both Phantom and Into the Woods were raking them in.

      I'm sure your mom loves seeing it too. I ran across a CZcams clip of a film I was in with Julian Sands almost 30 years ago, and it's so odd seeing myself that young, but I can show people and say "I *used* to be cute!"

    It's wonderful to see them singing their hearts out, but it must have been tough walking into the ceremony knowing Phantom of the Opera was the show to beat.

      The Phantom and Into The Woods were both hard to beat. They raked them in.

    Is no one going to applaud the costume change?

    • @deansenratz4437
      @deansenratz4437 Před 5 měsíci

      Two years later I'll be the only one to applaud the costume change! And even crazier - in the actual show they dd NOT have this quick change. Only for this one Tonys performance. (In the show Act 1 and Act 2 are two different time periods, so they only need to switch at intermission). Imagine the work and costume wizardry they had to get right just for this one performance!
