    Aaslamu Alikum my brother , i watched your video in which you are describing how you came to Islam ,.,the story is really awesome and wonderful ,your story itself shows how much intelligent you are ,because living in a culture where the things are only going opposite of Islam ,and then accepting Islam is a thing which can't be described in words , but remember Allah will reward you for it ( inshallah )...... Love you from Kashmir (India) .

    The reference point for 'balance' is the Qur'aan and Sunnah. And as you say we must increase in our knowledge and utilize the breadth of Sunni scholarly opinion to help understand the evidences correctly and in context.

      brother, the word shaykh has many meanings & is used in different senses in different places e.g in sub-continent it is used for addressing someone who is respectable in the society. in Arabic, it may be used for someone who is a religious scholar.. please don't take offence akhi.. Blessings :)

    • @turangadir6526
      @turangadir6526 Před 6 lety +2

      No, definitely i would never take offence from my brother In Shaa Allah. However i would just like clarify that even in the Asian sub-continent, it is not right to use the word shaykh for everyone you respect, either it cheapens the word shaykh, or it gives a praise to a person that this person, in his own opinion does not deserve. An example of that is how shaykh Tahir Wyatt reacted when being called shaykh, when he is most deserving of being called shaykh

Are you supposed to move back to the States and start preaching Islamic teachings? And how good your Arabic is? Are you able to understand all the book of Hadith and Tafseer? Thanks in advance

      He can do many things now he is graduated and may Allah guide him to what is best. For me, a born muslim with arabic language knowledge AlhamduliAllah and I still benifit and learn from him al hamdulillah... it’s about remembrance of Allah and helping one another for that and mashaAllah this dear brother is doing just that, may Allah reward him.
      It’s not about « what next »... it’s about now... whatever he does (himself our brother or anyone of us) his deeds are recorded... if he is studying his good deeds are recorded and if he is in the states, preaching, living, keep learning, working, his deeds (inshaAllah good deeds) are recorded and that what matters. Nomatter what one does, if it’s in the way that is pleasing to Allah and that is good that all what matters. People live all their lives gathering wealth and money for this world but the successful one is the one that gathers good deeds and hassanats for the hereafter.

      Thank you. I know under 40 is still young, but many people
      Advise that University of Medinah tends to take those between 18-25 for acceptance. I’m sure older guys get in. I also think it’s amazing when people spend their lives dedicated to seeking knowledge. Especially in today’s time when many drift away from faith altogether.
      May Allah guide us all.

      Fear None But ONE To my knowledge this is true 18-25 is the acceptance for the schools. I’m almost 40 and I tried for a very long time. Unfortunately, I don’t even waste my time with it anymore because if it was for me to go and study Allah would have opened the doors for me. May Allah help you achieve your goals of going there inshallah. Ameen ya Allah...

In the begining I applied with my US passeport for 2 years and I didn't get accepted the 3rd year I applied with my Italian passeport Al hamdulillah I was accepted at 26 years old. If you have an Italian passeport apply with it there are few Italian students and they often give preference to the revert ones even if they're in their 30's. May
      Allah make it easy for you.

    Completely agree with his statement regarding "balance". The emphasis of this is very important. For instance, there are extremist like some ulama/sheikh emphasise memorizing quran over understanding and vice versa. But we are muslims, the best solution was to memorize 5 verses then understand them, that was the way of the people during the time of the prophets
