    A salam alaikum warhamatullahi wa barakatu if someone has got a criminal history and has spent time in custody would it affect him in applying or are they likely to still accept if he meets all other criterias

      Wa Alaaykumus Salaam, it’s a condition to provide a police check AFTER they get accepted, it can affect a person getting their visa’s but many people have found ways around it, perhaps I will make a separate session specifically on this topic and find more about ways to go around it in sha Allah.

    asalam wa alaikum brother, i am a student from the UK, and i want to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. am i able to find a course in the uni of madinah and still be eligible to work as a surgeon in the UK afterwards, because i cannot find a course for medicine on the website.

      Not sure if ur still interested but even if they did offer the course the UK might not accept a degree from a country like saudi especially in healthcare.

    Brother aslamualikum warahmatullah . Brother how many holidays are in one year . And second in which month student will come back to there home ?

      So you have two main holidays, in between the two semesters which is roughly in January and you can travel home for 2 weeks, then the big holidays at the end of year roughly around May/June, this holiday is usually 3/4 months but I think with new year timetable it will only be 2 months

    What if you just want to do the Arabic institution for 2 years and leave that’s all will I be fluent in Arabic and is that a allowed thing?

      Akhi what’s the point of that. You can learn Arabic by yourself easily. The whole point of the university is to enter a faculty and earn a bachelor

      No you can’t work before higher studies, after reaching higher studies then you have more free time so they allow you to work

      I would advise that you at least know how to read Arabic. I would also advise you to learn as much Arabic before you go such as the Madinah book series

      @@jeweessjewees4814 I have not studied there most of my teachers have graduated from there. And I know brothers that have studied there. You can skip a year or two if your Arabic is strong/ at a good level. Why not make it easier upon yourself

      Id advise to learn as much as possible in quran and arabic, although not *required* for the uni

    If you can't speak Arabic will the teachers who teach Arabic in the 1st and 2nd year speak in English

      May Allah bless you too, the only way to apply is online, one of the brothers commented that they’ve said they usually open between August and October. It would be good to prepare all the documents before hand so when it’s open you just need to upload them. Going to cover how to apply next video in sha Allah.

      There’s universities that offer scholar like Umm al-Qura in Makkah or King Saud in Riyadh

      @@applepie7537 Islamically to travel there yes, but once you’re settled in your campus you don’t need a mahram to travel in the city you live in. You don’t need to fill in Mahram details etc when applying though that’s not connected with uni
