Considering how popular these reviews were for months, I'm wondering how manufacturers are going to react in the future. There has never been this much interest in across the board reviews of every partner model of a GPU series before this and I hope it hits MSI / ASUS / Asrock / XFX / etc where it hurts when they make faulty or deceptive designs that don't perform.

ive been using xfx since i first got a pc , recently upgraded to the XFX RX 5700XT ULTRA Thicc II, honestly i dont get what everyone complained about , with this card you just have to tune it about 30 minutes properly (I have a video about this) and then it runs sooo good, its so stable, and very very fast, i've seen benchmarks about this card and it is about the same and in some games even better than NVIDIA's RTX 2070 Super at $100 less, and even the 1080Ti. BIG win

Obviously with the focus being the price finding the ultimate cheap 5700 would save a lot of people from buying bad cheap 5700 cards. The results won't necessarily carry over from the xt test as the silicon is worse and a cooling solution which does the job for the xt won't necessarily do the same for a 5700 with xt bios that isn't intended and tested to work at those frequencies.

RX 5700 is a "defective" XT, the Silicon is exactly the same.

@@Orcawhale1 I probably didn't explain myself well enough. I meant buying 5700 only to flash it with xt bios in order to remove the cap. This would essentially make it unbinned 5700xt, which may run hotter and consume more power to get to 5700xt like performance than a standard 5700xt. Which begs the question: can these cheaper cooling solutions handle it? The more expensive aib models probably can, but can the cheap ones do it as well? I think it is worth testing.

I got the Mech for a Christmas present for someone yesterday in the UK, it must be one of the last of the 5700xt's for sale in the land, I'm surprised the shop still has stock in this model for 3 days now, cant see them lasting much longer
