My husband was murdered in 1972. Shot with a high powered rifle while sitting in a restaurant. Slain by a total stranger. 28 years old. My daughter and I have lived 51 years with the mental torture of that nightmare. I think of him every time I listen to this masterful song. It inspired me to dig down deep in that dark hole and write. My ramblings go on and on. notebooks filled with words of pain and anger, lost time, dead dreams.
If only I had Bob's gift to create a masterpiece to so magnificently honor his time on earth.

We cannot allow those who have come of age and moved to the front of the fight, to then be hammered down - whether Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever. This is not just about one person or family; we have never wanted, and don't need, an American version of royalty to rule over us. I listened to this tune with a true smile on my face and I listened to it with rolling tears. I started listening to Bob around 2010 or so, ridiculously late but I was born much too late and at wrong lattitude, or maybe not, who's to say anyway...In the fall/winter of 2020 and spring 2021 I drove city buses in the town of Zgierz in central Poland and I was listening to the music pretty much all the time while driving. I remember I often listened to this song late at night making my last round..the mood suited the late hour and the empty streets...and I know all the stuff about Johnson and the blink on the plane, grassy knoll and all that. When I was younger more often that not when I listened to Bob's early stuff I had tears in my eyes. It touched something in my soul that I cannot put my finger on...forgive my unwordiness.. :)

    Lyrics 🖤
Twas a dark day in Dallas, November '63
A day that will live on in infamy
    President Kennedy was a-ridin’ high
Good day to be livin' and a good day to die
Being led to the slaughter like a sacrificial lamb
He said, "Wait a minute, boys, you know who I am?"
"Of course we do. We know who you are."
Then they blew off his head while he was still in the car
Shot down like a dog in broad daylight
Was a matter of timing and the timing was right
You got unpaid debts; we've come to collect
We're gonna kill you with hatred; without any respect
We'll mock you and shock you and we'll put it in your face
We've already got someone here to take your place
The day they blew out the brains of the king
Thousands were watching; no one saw a thing
It happened so quickly, so quick, by surprise
Right there in front of everyone's eyes
Greatest magic trick ever under the sun
    Perfectly executed, skillfully done
Wolfman, oh wolfman, oh wolfman howl
    Rub-a-dub-dub, it's a murder most foul
    Hush, little children. You'll understand
The Beatles are comin'; they're gonna hold your hand
Slide down the banister, go get your coat
Ferry 'cross the Mersey and go for the throat
There's three bums comin' all dressed in rags
Pick up the pieces and lower the flags
I'm going to Woodstock; it's the Aquarian Age
Then I'll go to Altamont and sit near the stage
Put your head out the window; let the good times roll
There's a party going on behind the Grassy Knoll
Stack up the bricks, pour the cement
Don't say Dallas don't love you, Mr. President
Put your foot in the tank and step on the gas
Try to make it to the triple underpass
    Blackface singer, whiteface clown
Better not show your faces after the sun goes down
Up in the red light district, they've got cop on the beat
Living in a nightmare on Elm Street
When you're down in Deep Ellum, put your money in your shoe
Don't ask what your country can do for you
Cash on the ballot, money to burn
    Dealey Plaza, make left-hand turn
I'm going down to the crossroads; gonna flag a ride
The place where faith, hope, and charity died
Shoot him while he runs, boy. Shoot him while you can
See if you can shoot the invisible man
    Goodbye, Charlie. Goodbye, Uncle Sam
Frankly, Miss Scarlett, I don't give a damn
What is the truth, and where did it go?
Ask Oswald and Ruby; they oughta know
"Shut your mouth," said the wise old owl
Business is business, and it's a murder most foul
Tommy, can you hear me? I'm the Acid Queen
I'm riding in a long, black limousine
Riding in the backseat next to my wife
Heading straight on in to the afterlife
I'm leaning to the left; got my head in her lap
Hold on, I've been led into some kind of a trap
Where we ask no quarter, and no quarter do we give
We're right down the street from the street where you live
They mutilated his body, and they took out his brain
What more could they do? They piled on the pain
But his soul's not there where it was supposed to be at
For the last fifty years they've been searchin' for that
Freedom, oh freedom. Freedom cover me
I hate to tell you, mister, but only dead men are free
Send me some lovin'; tell me no lies
Throw the gun in the gutter and walk on by
Wake up, little Susie; let's go for a drive
Cross the Trinity River; let's keep hope alive
Turn the radio on; don't touch the dials
Parkland hospital, only six more miles
You got me dizzy, Miss Lizzy. You filled me with lead
That magic bullet of yours has gone to my head
I'm just a patsy like Patsy Cline
Never shot anyone from in front or behind
I've blood in my eye, got blood in my ear
I'm never gonna make it to the new frontier
Zapruder's film I seen night before
Seen it 33 times, maybe more
It's vile and deceitful. It's cruel and it's mean
Ugliest thing that you ever have seen
They killed him once and they killed him twice
Killed him like a human sacrifice
The day that they killed him, someone said to me, "Son
The age of the Antichrist has only begun."
Air Force One coming in through the gate
    Johnson sworn in at 2:38
Let me know when you decide to thrown in the towel
It is what it is, and it's murder most foul
    What's new, pussycat? What'd I say?
I said the soul of a nation been torn away
And it's beginning to go into a slow decay
And that it's 36 hours past Judgment Day
    Wolfman Jack, speaking in tongues
He's going on and on at the top of his lungs

God connect us in different manifestations and names-Jehovah, Allah, Yahweh, Buddha, KRSNA are sacred names of GOD. Just call upon any of these names in your prayers to connect our souls with the Supreme Creator. Religious conflicts and wars occured between men and countries because this fact is not being understood. May we always walk the godly noble paths life after life.

I was thinking today about the murder of JFK and I feel that after that the US started to go to hell in handbasket. The whole decade was so fucked up because Our boys kept coming home in body bags and the killing of the inocente people in Vietnam and, when Martin Luther King gave the Beyond Vietnam speech on april 4 1967 his most controversial speech yet a year to the day later he was murdered, then Bobby on the 6 of June just 64 days later. No one knows what Kennedy would have done about Vietnam had he lived. It's folly to declare any single day the worst in American history. The Secret Service follow car had a rifle manned by a rookie. The bullets from that firearm explode into a cloud of shrapnel. That's why the x-rays were doctored.

Saw Dylan in 74' w/ the Band at the Spectrum. First concert since his motorcycle accident. I was so overwhelmed I wept. And almost 50 years later, I still weep. As only he could write this poetry and to be touched so deeply by his words.
I remember the day, Sister Harold knocked on our 2nd grade door and told us "the President has been shot go home." It was solemn, even then, we were all Irish Catholic kids named after Kennedys. The joy had left our life.and we did lose our soul as a nation, never to be found.
Thank you Mr Dylan. Your music changed my life. Thank you for writing this for your fans. Not a word or reference was lost on us.

Because of that fact I am actually a very caring and empathetic human being. That being the case, what I stated is absolute fact. Nature and the Universe does not give a shit about human feelings, emotions, or thoughts. There is no "system" that enables or guarantees peace for all. Those admirable human notions and aspirations, if and when they are achieved come from the bottom up, not from the top down. The ideal is to have a system that allows most people to rise above their natural state. To give them a stake in the system. The mistake is in believing that unless there are no tragedies or travesties the system is beastly. Of course, something like Covid can come out of nowhere and wreck the publics faith in the very system they need to believe in. That is nature kicking in the door of our house of delusion that we are above it all. We are not, very trying and worrisome times ahead.

      ---
"We are all that kid standing by the side of the road. We have all grown up in the shadow of these events! The globalistas have been relentlessly working to drive us down the cattle chute of history toward their new world order...
We cannot allow those who have come of age and moved to the front of the fight, to then be hammered down - whether Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever. This is not just about one person or family; we have never wanted, and don't need, an American version of royalty to rule over us. From an American viewpoint, we are all royalty; every person a SOVEREIGN in his or her own home. In this way, our enemies cannot defeat us by taking out any one individual..."
      Juan O. Savin
From, "Kid By The Side Of The Road", 2020
      -------
"What is becoming more and more apparent by the day is this: our country went past the point of no return as we know it somewhere in the Obama years. A group of patriots recognized that the elites were setting up the world for some götterdämmerung and decided to intervene. That intervention was not what we thought it was. It was a different way to approach this collapse.
The collapse is inevitable-- the result of decades of imprudence and recklessness. What this group of like-minded patriots worldwide is accomplishing is a controlled demolition, if you will. Instead of this all out collapse which would benefit the ruling despotic satanic elites, they are countering it with a different collapse of their own: devolution.
At its heart, devolution allows the world populace to see the ruling elite for what they truly are. By removing the cloak of deceit that has benefited them for years, we are able to witness-- with perfect lucidity and in real time-- ALL of our major businesses and institutions actively working towards a post-human future. By post-human, I mean a future where humanity is no longer free and propagating, but one where we are a slave caste to these demonic individuals.
To think of these people as anything other than such is not just naive, but also sheer stupidity. In this great unmasking and the suffering we will go through, we would never again allow ourselves to be placed in a position whereby our God-given personal freedoms would be compromised. Devolution was the only way for us to come to some understanding of what has been done to us and allow us to unite against an entire system that benefits only a few..."
      Seamus O'Flannagan
      Continued...
      Cont.;
"... We need to view this group as direct descendants of the elitist progressivism that shaped the world in the lead up to the Great War, which this group of people enabled and started. We are still living in the world of 1914, and any illusions that our current life is not still shaped and controlled by the same people are just simply wrong. We are in the midst of this great epic and cosmic battle between the forces of light, and those that want only darkness.
One of our greatest failings as Americans is that we view the world through rose tinted glasses. We never experienced the Somme, or Verdun. 9/11 was seared into our brains, but it was one day. It is our nation's response to that day that has become a slow moving national tragedy.
We should have viewed the war on terror as our own Passchendaele, as we blindly sacrificed the best this country had for people who could have cared less for it. We must never allow the futility of these two decades in American history to be forgotten. For if we do, we open the door for these very people to once again destroy what we cherish most.
We have suffered too long under the yolk of these individuals who have grown so grotesque and arrogant that there are no longer any illusions as to what they are. However, in this fatal error of hubris, it is they that have all to fear whereas we have nothing to fear.
Their world is ending, ours is just beginning."
