Thank god for PJ she’s got me through so much, her music is just so different and amazing. It’s just so emotional, melancholic and her voice is beautiful. I hope one day I can see her live.

I like it. The production reminds me of 4-track demos haha
It doesn’t really sound like those songs. They had a way more wide open sound - room sound on most of the individual multitracks. This song was recorded on a four track but it has a much more “dead” sound (which is not bad, just completely different).

So much respect for this artist, always hits the emotional spot for me. So pleased too when watching this most powerful TV production which itself had me in tears, to then hear PJH singing to it cements it to my core.

I absolutely love PJ Harveys minimalistic sound. Especially on the older records. Check Out Rid of me: a distorted Guitar, 3 strings, palm muted, dead notes and here we go. It´s so amazing how much she can create with less effects and stuff. Love it!
I think Rid of Me is only two strings (makes it even more amazing though)
