The reason barry and taylor work so well togheder is because they both share that ''marine'' code
You can tell taylor is a nut case but becomes very respectful towards his fellow marines
The characters in this show are not very good people, don't worry if you end up not liking their actions at times lol
I think it's interesting how people react to Katie in Season 3. You get VERY different takes on her character.
Bill Hader is fantastic with his eyes....doesn't need to say a word!
Hader turned out to be an incredible actor! Who knew?
@@gigi-ij1hk His characters on SNL were ridiculous but always really well done. His commitment to the insanity was always pretty impressive. Nice to see him do dramas.
LEEROY JENKINS!!! lmao that never fails to crack me up.
At least he got chicken.
Give Sally a chance. She's a very flawed character, but so is nearly everyone else on the show. She is a strong favorite.
You're meant to feel that way about her at this point though, it's all par for the course.
Bruh. Do you know how blind reactions work? Jesus christ, stop all this “YOUR MIND WILL CHANGE” bullshit with your whiny spoilers. Are you a literal toddler? Let them watch the damn show on their own without you coloring their expectations ffs
I also have a love/hate relationship with Sally but at this point of the show i was def with you on despising her self absorption haha. The show is great at showing the duality of all the characters the more it goes on. Loving the reactions so far guys.
The problem with Sally is that she doesn’t realize she is a terrible person. Fuchs thinks he’s a big Man playing a big Man’s game, and he’s not. He does know that he is a criminal at least.
She's very irritating but i don't think she's irredeemable.
@@ct6852 you may want to finish the show then.
@@DogmeatDied989 meh she slightly redeems herself in last season. But the list of atrocities she has is to long to redeem fully; that woman is fked in the head.
Hang in there with Sally. She's probably the most complicated character in the show. For a reset, remember, nearly everyone is far worse than her, but in ways that are unfamiliar. She's awful in ways we are all familiar with and it makes it feel more personal.
Yes many are worse than her objectively, however someone being worse than her does not make her good. She's a pretty horrible person.
I will say that Sally gets SLIGHTY better in the last season
But she has been a god awful fking human being to everyone up until then, she is extremely narcissistic and egotistical.
They do a good job of making you hate Sally in this season, but overall she's still an amazing character.
You said at the end of this that it's getting good and juicy....it's only just beginning. You guys are in for a treat.
That intro was iconic...and almost prophetic...
People have VERY distinct reactions to Sally. lol. But literally every character is conflicted to say the least. At least she's a welcome break from outright murder. Like she could mostly fix her mistakes if she had a change of heart and new mindset. The show does mirror Breaking Bad a bit.
Thanks to Shaun and Tom! 🩸 Hiro Murai directed this one.
This show gets much funnier and much darker in all the best ways. I think I watched this right before season 3 came out and binged it over one weekend (which I think is necessarily the best way to watch a show you really love but I couldn't help it). Some truly, top tier all time great episodes of TV are coming, and I'm not being hyperbolic.
my crossover fantasy is you two watching the latest Breen film with Mike and Rich
This show is very deep. Examines our relationship with truth, how we can lie to ourselves, how terrible people can be sympathetic and how easily viewers can be manipulated. It also plays alot with just the idea of an actor, not the profession but how everyone is playing a role almost not existing in the world around them.
Who is the psycho? Sally - for not being able put herself in other peoples shoes. Acting like a good person but the person inside is rotten and selfish?
What about Gene?
What about Barry - He kills people non-stop sure he tells himself he is a good guy, he tells the viewer he is a good guy, but he seems to have no problem with killing people especially in the act. His only remorse so far is how his killing affects himself and his life, not the people he kills, their possible families, their loved ones etc etc. Barry says in his monologue "I only kill real piece of shit types" or something like that, well to me thats the exact same as sally, she cant recognize how terrible she is, just like barry can't recognize he is the "piece of shit type"
What about Taylor? He outwardly checks all the boxes hall of fame psycho, he also cant read the room and people around him, but push comes to shove he actually saves Barry, would any of the other characters do that? Gene, Sally, Fuches?
Or are the viewers of the show psychos? Because we can be so easily manipulated to fall in love with Barry and take his side on almost everything. Remove the show aspect, if you found out your neighbor was a hired hitman you wouldnt care if he thought of himself as a good guy you would want him buried under the prison and far away from you. You would pick Sally over a killer any day of the week.
After watching the series you realize that it's a show about bad but often sympathetic people. You can understand and feel bad for what's happening to them but it doesn't mean they aren't horrible people.
It's crazy how consistent you guys are with uploads. I've found you through Barry. Let's make it to S4 together. Excited. ❤
Love this series so much, and these videos obvs
3:40 lmao same
Can't wait for episode 7!
Awesome show for sure 😂
👍
Id hire tom if i was making a movie
Both Sally and Barry is damaged, in different ways - I bet your opinion of Sally will change in time, same for Barry. Almost every actor is amazing in their performances, even the secondary characters deliver in buckets.
Yeah every character and side character has their own crisis. It's what makes it so dark...and hilarious.
It’s funny how easily men turn on Sally lol. Barry can legit murder people and y’all are like “meh he’s ok”. Reminds me of everyone who hated Skylar in breaking bad, and acted like Walt was some Hero, even though she was the only rational character on the show.
Lets gooo
The characters in the show are supposed to be unlikeable. Especially Sally. It's basically a show about people who could've been better if they really tried, but they can't win against themselves. So don't be ashamed for not liking Sally, a lot of people don't like this kind of line of thinking because she's a woman and they associate disliking her with sexism. But she's really a bad person.
The problem is of course when people hate her even when her actions are correct, like when she "can't stand up for herself because she's pathetic" or "she's toxic because she rejects Barry's clinginess". You know, kinda like you are.
My man is being driven nuts by her like I was lol!
I can't stand Sally either. She's one of my most hated TV show characters ever.
