Of all the quick service dining locations featuring an alien on a space-organ who serenades you with 50’s tunes (along with his invisible backup singers) while you eat, this is definitely in the top 5.

Hey Jenna and Josh! We ate there the last time we went in December, and loved it! It's got such a happy vibe in there, a little shade from the sun. I got the Mac n cheese before as I'm a vegetarian and my husband got the pulled pork. Such a cool little place, with Sonny eclipse taking centre stage, you gotta love it! Thanks guys xx

Dude, I had this dusty memory in the back of my head of something like this restaurant. It’s been years since I’ve last been there and it’s been driving me crazy so I finally looked it up. The memories were real! I’m not crazy!

Great review. Cosmic Ray's is always one of my favorite dining spots in MK as well. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there, and Sonny Eclipse is a good piece of nostalgia.

Cosmic Ray's with Sonny Eclipse, not one of the best restaurant in Disney but the atmosphere is very fun. Great memories. Incredible view of the castle especially when the fireworks going off. Tinkerbell fly over too.
Sunny Eclipse is one of those special characters that belongs with Figment, Dream Finder, Kitchen Cabaret, and Push the talking trash can.

Our family enjoys this Q/S but it can get so crowded that we try to plan our day to arrive @ 11AM before the lunch "hordes" descend on this establishment!Enjoy all your videos-keep up the great work!

I love Cosmic Rays during the Christmas party. The put on such a great dance party for the kids. Those are some of the best memories (and videos) of our trips over the years.

fun fact, when they have the dance parties in there and there's a dj set on the stage, it is actually a completely different stage that is under sonny's stage. and when they need to use the other stage, sonny goes into the ceiling.
i have never seen this happen in person but i think it's super cool.

Glad you made this video. It's our favorite quick service at the Magic Kingdom too! I whole heartedly agree with Josh about the burger.. you can get it anywhere BUT only one place with Sonny Eclipse!! Sometimes I feel that we're Disney Soulmates. Good they fixed the bays, I hated to wait in 3 lines to get lunch for everyone in my group.
Bay 1 was salads, Bay 2 was Burgers and sandwiches, Bay 3 was Chicken tenders and Ribs

We love Cosmic Ray's. When my girls were little, they would look so forward to seeing Sonny Eclipse. This is the first year that we haven't been down since they were toddlers. My oldest has driver training during this week (April Vacation in RI). We are having withdrawal symptoms!!!

We are definitely going to eat there next time we make it the magic kingdom. We had a lot of reservations when we went so we did not check out many quick service places other than mickey ear soft pretzels.

No hate but last time I was there it was crowded, the food was bad and it smelled like throw up
Whenever you get kids meals do they ever question you? I feel like if I asked they would be like you have to be 12 and under or something.
They don’t care as long as you pay for it. It’s great because you’re getting less food and paying less. I think they realize they’d have issues if they started asking people to have a child present to buy a kid’s meal. Of course, they could offer smaller meals for adults, but they probably won’t ever do that.
