Is there is way to fit the 500 saw round rail for the parallel fence? If you would build a steel brace to keep the sliding table from tipping at one end that would be safer. Get an electrician to rewire the off-on switch and cut a hole in the machine to place the switch where you need it. I have the Felder Format4 Profil 45 and have had to shim the 2 fences so as to use the high speed spindle with small router bits. I also cut a 9cm X 6.5cm window in one end of the machine so I may see the belt pulleys position and spindle lock socket bolts when making changes. I also have the Felder FD250 boring machine of which I have made changes. If you had purchased the 500 saw it would have made a lot of positive improvements in your shop; but, you can alter things and make C31 better. I wanted to buy the Hammer saw and Felder USA told me they would not sell that model to me (they know I would be unhappy). I am getting an SCM with digital fence. Dont you think you just missed the feet for the saw in order to make it stable?! I am sure there is holes in the steel body where you can fit some feets.

Thank you for the review, we have this model specifically, and it is costly. It is clearly not worth the price due to such poor finishing.
Most of the problems he has mentioned are due to poor set.
