- "Don't move to Plymouth, MI before watching this" - a crucial message for those considering living in Plymouth, Michigan. This town, nestled in Southeast Michigan, offers a blend of small-town charm and suburban convenience. However, potential residents should be aware of certain nuances before moving to Plymouth, Michigan. The high cost of housing is a significant factor, with Plymouth being one of the more expensive cities in the area. Living in Plymouth, Michigan, means facing a median home value of approximately $467,000, a stark contrast to the Michigan average.
Another aspect to consider before moving to Plymouth, Michigan, is the elevated tax rates, with two different rates for the township and the city. This can significantly impact the cost of living in Plymouth, Michigan. The "Three Bears" dilemma also plays a role, where Plymouth's quiet ambiance might not suit those used to the hustle of larger cities. Conversely, for those seeking a quieter life, living in Plymouth, Michigan, might feel too busy with its many community events.
The train track conundrum is another factor to consider when moving to Plymouth, Michigan. Regular delays due to train crossings can affect daily schedules. Additionally, commuting challenges from Plymouth to major employment hubs can be significant, a vital consideration for those thinking of living in Plymouth, Michigan.
The limited topographical variety is another aspect to ponder before moving to Plymouth, Michigan. The predominantly flat terrain and lack of nearby all-sports lakes might not appeal to outdoor enthusiasts. Finally, while there are limited negatives beyond the commonplace, such as traffic and cost of living, these are still factors to consider when moving to Plymouth, Michigan. Living in Plymouth, Michigan, offers many benefits, but it's essential to weigh these against potential drawbacks for a well-informed decision.

My dad and I got stuck by a train on my wedding day! The pastor kept saying, "she;s not here! Did she ditch?"
@@kimmock2892 that’s terrible! Kind of funny in retrospect I hope! And a good story!
There's a great hiking trail just a few minutes from Plymouth.
Plymouth is a great city, still has that small town feel. Crime is almost zero. Its a city for successful people who have money and there's nothing wrong with that.
How about walking to work? How are the walking trails there?
It depends on how far you have to walk, the average commute for a person in Plymouth is 22 min by car, where are you working?
@@MichaelPernaTV i will be moving to Plymouth for work (for 6months). So, i wouldn’t have a car. I will be working in Halyard dr. I am struggling to find a suitable place which is walkable from work. Could you please suggest what I can do?
there parking sucks when they have all them fairs. & music in the park . no parking
What about ANN ARBOR?
Ann Arbor is on my list to research & shoot! What info should I include?
@@MichaelPernaTV haven’t been there in over 40 years, just want to see how big it’s gotten; perhaps see if my old neighborhood of NEWPORT RD AND RIVERIDGE IS STILL THERE…. Or what became of the diag and MAIN STREET.
Maybe see if WEST PARK , GALLUP, and ARGO PARKS LOOK LIKE.
It is a very dirty city.
