We do not have second hand market like yours but we have antique shops which sells furniture brass items. And we are now in a lockdown and when this over I mean the pandemic thinking of travelling just to visit thrift shops first ❤ till that time i enjoy watching videos like yours . Interesting to know. In Germany, they don't have estate sales either. Usually, there is a flea market seller that comes in and buys everything to resell.

I collect double/triple candle holders & those were so expensive...even the milk glass! I'm lucky, I don't pay more than $5.99 per holder(if that). The linens were beautiful! Would love to have gotten a few of those & the silver

I used old handkerchiefs for invitations.You just have to find a great printer who can print them for you.

I collect miniature shoes...wow...I go to estate sales that have collections like that collection...I've noticed the lady who collects dolls (I do not) collect the miniature shoes...

If you happen to come by more matching glasses, I would keep them, use occasionally. You just may unexpectedly discover more glasses to match 🤔😊

Nice items. Plates were priced so high though, not surprising they didn't sell. I went to a garage sale this weekend and bought some pressed/etched glass items. A glass box which looks like it could've been a cigarette holder and some napkin rings. Wanted a small bowl but felt that$6 was high. Went onto a charity resale, bought a platter for $2 and a little etched glass basket for$3, much more my prices

I live in FL but I go to Texas often as my daughter lives there. Is this close to Houston at all? I was in awe over all the georgeous things that were at the estate sale. I would spend way to much at s sale like that especially on half price day. Love estate sales. I don't get out to garage or estate sales much anymore. I live in a rural area and they are far and few between. I use to live in town where I could get to them easier.
This estate sale was in Houston. Next time you visit your daughter, plug in her zip code to estatesales.net and see what is in her area. Lots of great charity thrift stores in Houston. The fun you could have with her!

Estate sales are generally way overpriced. The chipped pitcher would make a lovely decor piece with live florals in it. .
Some estate sales are overpriced. Though, there is a company I follow in Houston that tends to under price items, even on the first day. The last day of the sale is usually worth going.
The white milk glass with the leaf pattern is super hot right now. If you look at it for a while you’ll understand why. 🤪
Didn’t think of that. Ha! My cousin just gave me lots of the milk glass grape leaf. High on my list to feature now. 😂
I love your new cake stand, Lady Mary Beth. Is it bigger than the other one that you bought recently? The Christmas china is fun. It sort of reminds me of Nikko's Christmas pattern. Do you remember the name of the maker of your friend's pink cup & saucer? It looks very much like one that my mother had (which I now have), in mint green, same flowers, which was made by Colclough China. Thanks for showing us these lovely pieces, Lady Mary Beth. P.S. This is the cake stand I showed in the livestream. It's huge! Good eye on the Christmas china! It is Nikko "Happy Holidays". I will ask my friend about her pink demitasse. Yes, got up super early to get ready to head to the sale. My daughter wanted to wake up to breakfast. Felt kind of bad, but the timing worked out. Had everything prepped and ready. It was a great day, even if I pushed the envelope that morning. Had to go! I went to bed dreaming of the candleholders.

You have a good eye! My friend just sent me an image of the demitasse backstamp. It is Colclough China Made in Longston, England "Genuine Bone China". You nailed it!

Greetings from Texas! The “1876 Cape Cod” plates were $5 each the last day of the sale. I was shopping this estate sale and am not a seller. At the end of the sale, a buyout company usually comes in to liquidate contents and empty the house. It’s long gone now. 😔

Estate sale companies sell the remaining items to a liquidation company. In Houston, most everything ends up in South Texas and Mexico.
