Im 43 years old and ive just started out on my youtube journey and trying to start my brand. 37 subscribers so far. Its going to be a long road ahead but im determined to succeed. Because when i succeed at this. It means im also helping others succeed too.. Best of luck to everyone starting their own personal brand journey!!
I'll be 60 in a few months and I started my personal brand in 2022 and this year I'm growing CZcams with shorts and my new podcast. What is your niche?
That's amazing and what an inspiration you are❤. My niche is aimed at self motivation and self Improvement. Trying to inspire the older generation that youtube isn't just for young attractive people but anyone at any age can change the direction of their life.
@@_kathrynprice I just checked out your channel and you've got some great advice in your videos. You have a new subscriber from 🇳🇴 Norway!
Same! I'm 46 and the only thing I regret is not starting sooner. But I am 100% all in and have become addicted to learning and getting better at this. Im determined to succeed at this!
You just got one more sub, bro. Gotta support the 40+ club!
Pat, I feel like you’re the only CZcamsr giving actual good advice. Most other CZcamsrs that talk about this kind of stuff only grew a following by telling others how to grow a following.
All the content on CZcams is geared toward business or using CZcams to grow your business where as you’re the only one that went into the entertainment side and can speak directly to people like me
It’s very hard to find good advice for entertainment channels
Hi Pat, I’m 41, 3 kids, living in Spain and just started a CZcams channel on parenting, punching fear in the face and going for it! Unique experience as I’m living the experience with my own kids! Love your videos, many thanks for the inspiration
Thanks Pat 🚀16:42 Create branded frameworks, use AI and chat GBT, maintain a story vault, capture moments, categorize them, inject unique experiences, understand audience needs, and focus on creating a solution or product to build a personal brand in 2024.
Out of all the thousands of ‘personal branding guru coaches coaching coaches to be personal brands that don’t have a personal but want to build a brand as coach who builds personal branding coaches’
Idk why tf you haven’t made a 2.0 Superfans book AND course.
A HUGE launch. BIG ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION & a mission based (identity marketing) 2 year trickle down campaign that sets a new precedent and a whole new movement.
HONESTLY …..
You Pat, are in the top 5 who can teach on this topic.
Beg you see this or someone you know tells you, and it becomes a reality.
SUPERFANS!!!!!
Pat, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. I'm 57 and just started my CZcams journey and to have someone sit down and fully explain the process is greatly appreciated.
I really need this. I’ve been trying to figure this out for like 10 years. I’m in the Funko Pop niche but there’s not really too much I can do in that niche other than what everyone else is doing which is new release news, showcasing, and mystery box opening.
I grew a following on tiktok to almost 2M followers because I started a trend in the niche. I blew up so fast that I didn’t have a next step. I never pivoted so I just kept milking the same content and plateaued for 3 years. I tried everything I can think of to revive my account with no luck.
I’ve recently been aggressively consistent with making more community style content and it seems to be working as well as engaging with the community.
Right now I’m pivoting into more of an art channel with a focus on Funko pops.
Pat, this was a great video. I heard you you talk a little about the brand hand on the Grow With Video Summit so when your video popped up on my feed, I had to tune in. This was a lovely presentation and it made so much sense. I’m leaning into it. I know who I’m serving and why. I already have the know. Like, and trust factor but I’m going to lean into it with more historical authority. Thank you for the inspiration.
Define the person you serve and his/her problems. Write every script directly to that person and it will resonate.
Dude, great content. It’s been a longtime and you nailed it on the keys to a personal brand.
We moved from USA to Cambodia and started our CZcams journey. I started off solo and my wife has been more involved in the videos. Never thought would have a 1000 watch hours and 155 subscribers.
your approach to personal branding is spot-on! Understanding and engaging deeply with the audience is the cornerstone of creating a brand that not only resonates but also sustains its relevance and impact. 🎯
Thanks to the algorithm for suggesting this video to me.
And thank you for the AWESOME video.
Just in time. Exactly what I need to transition from work to building my own community. Love ya Pat ❤
Building a personal brand intake years, you must build an audience.
Almost each word mentioned in the video requires in-depth study.
I have 5 key tasks that I HAVE repeat EVERY DAY, 6 day per week for years.
My channel is only 1200 subscribers, but I’ve made multiple -figures with my personal brand.
I use organic strategies.
My niece is agricultural land, hunting ranches in South Africa.
My channel is my name.
Nice! "Brand in a Hand" - thanks for always keeping us on our toes Pat.
Thanks, Pat. I am 62 and starting to build my personal brand. I should have started over 30 years ago, but now is the best next thing! I love😊 your explanation!
This was an amazing video. I actually took notes in a trained chat on Google Gemini and I have great feedback that’s personalized to what I’m building. Shout out to everyone working on a personal brand. This is your time to shine! Thanks for sharing this!
Out of all of the videos I've watched about building a CZcams channel, THIS is the most helpful by far. Thank you, 🙏 🙏
most impactful video on branding I've watched this is top tier
Thanks a lot Pat! 🔥🔥 I started my personal brand as a side project 3 years ago and I’m still kinda lost, sometimes I just mess around with things that are not that important but with this framework I can definitely make better use of my time (which as a father of 2 babies I don’t have much). Again, thanks a lot man. ❤
I love this! I've been following you since way back then. I'll be 60 in a few months and I started my personal brand in 2022 and this year I'm growing CZcams with shorts and my new podcast. What is your niche?
Love the "brand in a hand"! So good!
Pat - my eyes rolled about 20 minutes in... In a good way!
Hi Pat, I love your content and learning a lot from you. Please make a video on how we can succeed in smaller niches. Regards
Hey Pat. Recently found you through Sean Cannell who I found through Chris Do. Your content is awesome man. Keep it up.
I don't know if it's a coincidence but I feel like this video addressed my comment on your last video. Yes!!! That's what you do well. You connect with people's needs!!
Most people spend way too much time on the ideas and the products, but they don't validate what people need and want.
I find that most new entrepreneurs focus too much on what they want to create instead of the actual market demand. You can't force people to understand your vision. Your vision needs to align with what they already want and need.
What a great video Pat! Thank you!
Great insights on personal branding
This is a really well thought out and structured video. I really appreciate you putting this together.
Looking to make things happen with my channel, which is my online journal on life after Military Retirement, especially with finding my next mission in life and being a veteran advocate. I appreciate the info you put out there, Pat!
Having real conversations with real people in your niche will give you the most powerfull way to find out more about your audience. And when you genuinely are interested in the conversation, people will connect with you and will be interested in what you have to say 🎉 Solid GOLD 💛
Really great advice Pat, thanks for this!
Brillant thoughts Pat
Game-changer content! Thanks!
This is GOLD 👏 Thumbs up 👍 Thanks Pat 🤜💥🤛
Love this 🎉
Thanks for creating GREAT training like this!!!!
My pleasure Sean! I hope you enjoy it - let me know what you think!
This is the perfect starting place for new brands 💯
Great ideas to motivate me, thanks!
Awesome information - thank you so much. I loved the Branded Hand as it was fun & memorable. Definitely a 👍 from me 😊
Gold!
Thanks boss!! I'm going ro watch this multiple multiple times. Esp story vault idea 💡
Hey Pat! Great video and love the idea of being more human. By the way, what kind of drawing pad are you using? I checked out the podcasting equipment link, but couldn't find it listed.
Keep up the nice work! I purchased your book a year ago and just subscribed.
I'm very happy to be able to access this type of content, despite the difficulty with my average English. I really wanted to read your book, but in Brazil it has a price that is unaffordable for me at the moment. Thank you for the free content here on CZcams. Hugs from Brazil
There is a Brazlian version of my book, Superfans, published in Portuguese. It may be available for cheaper over there!
Next please explore on product creation and its development.
Notes:
If Pat Flynn started a personal brand in 2024, he'd do this:
1) Talk with your ideal target audience
2) Find their personal, professional, life purpose, pursuits, ambitions
3) Find the problems (lack of confidence in __ , Fear of failure, Imposter syndrome, perfection, external factors)
4) Platform, a place to connect with them. (Create unique experienced content, strong conviction, brand your frameworks)
5) Product
In short:
Find a problem that you struggled with, there you find yourself, your pursuits, ambitions, your problems and where you & target audience hangs around.
Awesome
Great video
People Pursuits Problems, Platform,

Thanks for the great content! Absolutely enjoyed Superfans and am working to grow my CZcams channel and Personal Brand! Thanks Pat!
What i wonder about this notion of "who" is this: how well does this need to be defined, and what are possible structures about this to constrain to... e.g. in the past i have run companies that we had a very tight customer avatar with demographic and psychographic definitions... but as I start my own brand, it feels like the target is very different, not just a specific type of customer, but the change agents that are looking for tools to change the world with... yet the way that sounds doesn't really sound like the segments that I have done in the past. Do you have examples of different people defining "who" somewhere? I get the concept that you're pointing to, I just don't get how with a personal brand that this gets defined.. given that we're not talking about a specific product to sell, but more of a conceptual need that a group of people might have. Any insight, especially with examples, are appreciated. Thanks. Great video.

Anyone know what products / how he is able to draw on what I assume is an ipad live while he records?
I also connect to Healthy Gamer. He is great. I’m not a man or a gamer, but I do have ADHD. I am thinking this audience persona is a series of concentric circles.
Without collecting the data 📈 of people you don’t have direction on a Niche.
You forgot to link to the video you talk about online courses and implementation! What's the video?
9:40 external problem: No Chick Fil A Sauce !? Thanks for tips 😎
I've had a challenge with people that care. I've been speaking on the fact that sales professionals in business to business companies have atrocious turnover which hurts the companies and the sales professionals having unstable work life 😢 I have interviewed hundreds of companies and they all said they have terrible turnover among salespeople and ask them why don't they change they just say they don't know really what to do.
Not getting too deep but now companies are holding marketing and revenue leaders all responsible and the turnovers of all dropped under 2 years😢😢😮 how can that be good for a company it can't. I can't seem to find anybody in a company that seems to care. Any ideas?
You say to find the who I can't seem to find anybody that wants to do anything different just keep it the status quo is crushing companies. Turnover rate amongst go to market add revenue leaders is dropping like a rock😢😢😢😅😮
what if i don't show my face, just brand of product or brand account on social media.?
Building a personal brand can take years, 7 days per week.
You must build an audience.

fucking epic
I think I’m the only one who finds this a little vague around WHAT people are actually creating content about..!?
On the PLATFORM you're on, you're doing a few things:
1. Demonstrating you understand what your person is going through (through the language you use and the questions you answer based on the problems.
2. Showing proof that you're the person to listen to - case studies, frameworks, ideas to help people through those problems - and again all of this framed through the above. Tips/strategies/help.
3. Connections to other people in the industry - authority through association.
4. Reactions / news - updates in the industry so the audience knows you're on top of it and are staying up to date.
5. Personal events and occurrences that relate to the audience on all of the above.
There are a ton of things you can create content about but if you're not sure WHAT exactly to create content about, you haven't done enough research and digging into who your target audience is and what they want and need.
This 🔥
@@patflynnthis is golden. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
@patflynn these 5 points are gold. It really creates a solid base to set yourself up for success.
All you gotta do is to stop listening to everyone telling you what to do all the time and start cultivating a mind of your own. Right now i see all the “experts” saying the same thing. Thats the trend, no one has original views anymore, so why listen?
There are no unique messages, only unique messengers.
@@patflynn but thats my point pat. The messengers are no longer unique because they all pump out the same content!
Thanks, Pat. Bringing it, as always. 👍🦘
I’ll have to return to this when I can give it my undivided attention, but what I’ve heard so far is good as always, Pat!!
Yeah I’m going to be listening to this so much that I memorize every word lol
