The DCT develepment has come a long way since he bought that too. What ever it goes in, it should be a sweet setup.

Hmmmm 🤔 we do have fun in here for the most part at least what I see when I’m in the comments lol.
But I have deep ideas!! I worked on attack helicopters and I have a lot of idea that can be used on the platform. I just don’t want to clutter up the comments for the people that you genuinely help and have questions for you. But being honest this is the only channels that shows shows the evolution of this platform. This is like the R&D channel for n54’s.

Want to swap mine also to a 8hp version don't know yet..
Also hope to find a twin screw charger so i ru about 370 hp max so 8hp45 would be i think to low but a 70 would probably overkill. ?

Hey Hevendra, do you have any info on you n54 e36? I have a RHD e36 coupe and an e92 write off in factory manual. Would love to go this way with an 8hp70, big top mount single turbo and port injection.
Andrew what haltec does this run? Has it had the direct port injection deleted? Looking to do the same with the new R3

The sunroof is what makes that E90 M3 instead of the carbon roof.

No you can option both from the factory. This has something that was not a factory option.

Your videos bring me lots of joy, curious to see how you figured out the lamik wasn’t communicating with the haltech.
I plugged the lamik screen in haha. Showed the error for no communication with ecu. Turns out I had the can speed set wrong for haltech.

If you do a 8HP auto swap with let's say a S85 from the E60 M5, is there any way you can make the interior cabin where the gear shifts are, looking OEM as possible? I just don't like the look of that huge gear shift knob, but the technology is awesome!
i work up the road from whitey's wiring! I have a single turbo 335i with a turbo manifold built by simply tuning. been trying to book my car in there for months they're so busy 😪

Ahh! I need MORE MONEY! But seriously I NEED more Money! This is an incredible build. When I see that E46 rolling (Same color as mine!) and imagine the torque and control my own could have.... I drool. I love this build and it's SO inspiring! I have been watching the build the "Seems Legit" guys have been doing and it all gets me fired up! As "they" say "Too many cooks make the strange sounds coming from the trans?" ? Wait. No.... Q: "How many 8hp Lamik conversions does it take to stop using wrong Metal trans pan?" (I tried to warn them lol). A: "One, then all the rest can ignore it and do the same thing!". Sorry about all that I'm a bit of a goof. I really hope Dan and the guys there think you are an asset to their world! I know I sure do. Getting to see the way they can work is really cool! The ending is very funny too. (I hope LOL). I'm assuming you did some editing to make us all gasp a bit? Oh and I can tell something is off with the Black E90 M3 but I'm just not sure. I love it!!

What do i need for M54 B25 turbo 8HP swap? Its a 03 325i and will need a decent 350-400hp
A well-engineered conversion from manual to 8HP70. It will be interesting to see what Dan's impression is when it is completely sorted. Andrew, when you installed the 8HP70 into the Flow Max car, I thought you had to cut away some of the bellhousing for the starter to fit which wasn't done on this installation. Have I missed something there?
You are correct, Dan did this when i was out of the shop and i didnt get any footage of it..... then i totally forgot about it by the time the trans was mounted.
@@ZeroTo60Tube I have replaced the built engine with a standard engine with 100,000km. It actually runs properly now and pulls very nicely even on 98. I have to do a couple of datalogs and get them off to Ken to refine the tune. The RB GF 19T turbos are laggy down low compared with the previous RB EVO 17Ts but a lot stronger from 3,000rpm. In the next couple of months, I will begin pulling the built engine apart to see why it had low compression in all cylinders.

I need a little more indept information about shortening the drive shaft. I am facing a similar problem. Just need to know what to tell the shop that is going to shorten it for me.
You should check with the shop what information they will want. They will likely have a few specific questions that they require in order to build a shaft to suit.
That e90 m3 has f80 mirrors

This cross member on the car is a e90 335i one. The bracket on the box is custom made. However it may be worth looking in a e90 330d trans bracket. I know they bolt to the 8hp, just a matter of seeing how it’s sits length wise.
Oh and the box adapter plate, that came from turbo lamik.

Depends what you are tyring to do. Street car, probabaly xdrive.
I only realised a couple of months ago that E90 M3’s have E92/couple front ends.
Yeah. They aren’t interchangeable but same style anyway. Plastic guards etc.
However this one has something that wasn’t a factory option.
Can you make a video on the direct inject delete. im curious to see if its a worthwhile thing to do for reliability
Will definitely dive in to it with more detail. However involves replacing the factory dme. So it is quite in depth

Sunroof was an option down here. Quite a few about, the sunroof helps a lot when you park the car on a hot day.

The tensioner might be loose, maybe a little stretched on the chains.

So in theory, would the BMW S62 accept the ZF 8HP transmission as well? A S62B50 engine with an automatic transmission in an E38 body would be my absolute dream car!
That would be a dream or even swapping N62 from the e60 550i
@@marlonbaird6070 N62 has way more problems. My ultimate dream would be the McLaren F1 V12 engine, aka the S70/2 engine into an E38. It's a shame that BMW produced a M3 with an inline-6 engine from its motorsport division, a M5 with an V8 engine from its motorsport division, but not a M7 that had a proper V12 from its M division, that would have 12 individual throttle bodies. Today's M5 is definitely larger in size compared to the E38, and possibly even the M3/M4.
