Portrait Painting of the Boys

I was asked to paint a portrait of these two as a Christmas gift. I've been doing portrait paintings since 2007. Over time, I've developed a style mixing pop art's bold shapes and colors with the loose feel of impressionist paintings. Oil on canvas paintings can get fairly pricey. One way to lower the budget is to allow an artist, like me, to work from photographs. In this video, I show an accelerated video of the portrait during its creation, talk about some fundamentals of the style elements, and throw in another little overview of a different painting I did not too long ago.
