I was the video editor for this whole ad campaign! It was my first big professinal editing job. It's so cool to see that so many kids saw it. Gilbert Gottfried as Seymore Smoke was certainly a troublesome (but memorable) casting choice. BTW, the song has been stuck in my head all these years too! Thanks everybody for the comments!

On October 12, 18 years ago, a young man of five, saved his entire family by following the directions from this video and what he learned in class. It apparently did not scare him.
