I have 2 African spotted eagle owls , one is fully grown and because he's my first I never could fly him to the glove but I now have a 4 week old baby African spotted eagle owl which has a lot of potential

I've got a pair of these in my neighborhood that I think just found each other. I've heard one for a really long time but now I hear two calling between each other. One was sitting in the middle of the road a few nights ago, probably grabbing a frog. saw one of them on my roof early this morning and heard them calling to each other this morning and again this evening. (I'm from South Africa btw)

As a South African, I have 3 of these owls in my backyard. I don't own them and so they are still wild owls. Two are adults and the other one must be a chick because I recently saw it on the ground below a very tall palm tree. It is the same tree that I have spotted the two adults sitting in over the past 2 months. I guess the chick must have been venturing out of the nest. The dead stare he gave me though.....LOL. Most of my friends are saying I must get a gun and shoot them because they are bad omen. Somehow, I don't believe them. Something is just telling me to let the owls live.

This channel is certainly one of the best... no crap and great advice. Currently have a breeding pair of red tails....on the fence as to a creche Eeo or parent reared.

Hi, my first question after watching your video is, how to deal with colder temperatures during winter time? Is this owl hard enough for (middle)-european winters? Or does she need a temperatured space in the aviary? In this context, could you suggest a minimum temperature? Thank you.

Another point with smaller birds. Less intimidating, but you do need more care in handling. Very easy to injure.

Volume is -18.7. That's really low. Most video editing software allows the creator to 'normalize the volume'. An area of 0 to -5 would be a lot better.
