The APV's can also be used to bake lights onto objects without lightmaps, which makes them rly good for huge maps since they bake in seconds, but the quality in URP is not as good as HDRP making lightmaps a better option in URP, and the reason is not working with realtime GI is because RTGI in unity is deprecated, but they are working on a new RTGI solution that will use the APV's
哇!早发现这个视频就好了!一直在找URP灯光与角色方面的视频,感谢~!!❤
Great tutorials, keep it up!
Thanks, will do! :D
I think you can add probes right beside the shadows to improve the transition
which version are you using? I'm using 2022.3.11 and I don't see an option for probe volumes in the lighting settings
Hi, you have to use the 2023.1 at least to have the APV
Thank you
I got problem when the dynamic object go into the shadow, it's still receive light from mixed direction light. Can you help me how to solve it?!
Mixed light means its both baked and realtime so if you only want your object to be lit by baked lighting you have to change your light to baked mode@@phatbuihong4014
Is real time lighting good for mobile gaming?
Yeah you can use but very limited, max 1-2 sources if you want to keep it performant
It is not. At all. Kills a ton of performance. Just bake your lights. RT lights have become a thing with the ps4 onwards. If youve played and liked 95% of PS3 and xbox 360 games, just bake your lights
Wow, didn't know that
How do you make it modified and where you don’t have to do anything?
Do you mean the adaptive probe volume?
What does the adaptive probes do? @@gamedevblueprint
just saying my map is big and am to lazy to do so
well you can use APV or adaptive probe volume, I talk about it in a nuthsell in the end of this video, I'll dive deeper into it once Unity 6 released, since they working on it. It's not perfect now, but for large openworld scenes it's really good one
Thanks for lightning tutorials! But sometimes i just can't follow you cuz i can’t figure out where your one sentence ends and another begins. At least take a breath after finishing sentence please!
Yeah I'm sorry it's been a problem my all life 😀 I'll try my best in my future videos😀
