सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दिल्ली आबकारी नीति से जुड़े मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) द्वारा की गई गिरफ्तारी को चुनौती देने वाली दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की याचिका पर सुनवाई शुरू हो गई है। न्यायमूर्ति संजीव खन्ना और न्यायमूर्ति दीपांकर दत्ता की पीठ को ईडी की ओर से पक्ष रख रहे अतिरिक्त सॉलिसिटर जनरल एसवी राजू की ओर से एक नोट दिया गया जिसमें उन्होंने केजरीवाल की इस दलील का विरोध किया कि जांच एजेंसी ने सरकारी गवाहों के बयानों को दबाया है।
Hearing has started in the Supreme Court on the petition of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal challenging the arrest made by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to Delhi Excise Policy. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Dutta was given a note by Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, appearing for the ED, in which he opposed Kejriwal's contention that the investigating agency had suppressed the statements of government witnesses.
