Kickstarted by 1,139 wonderful people
all things truly Wicked start from innocence - Zábava
"Soup is not for eating, soup is for drinking, and throwing on the ground as you demand REAL food."
Soup is great as a mixer.
lol
Clare Marie life motto
Clare Marie True
Sounds like something Ron Swanson would say
Favorite line: "A grave and sinister act has been committed here this evening."
"Yeah. Louisa May's dress." *high fives Oscar Wilde*
Amanda Kathryn MY favourite line is Oscar Wilde saying “yes” right after in the sassiest way imaginable
XD
"I swear by the completely natural mustache on my face, this is quite the turn of events."
Favourite line by far "his" hypermasculine overcompensation is one of my favourite parts
I first thought Edgar said that breaking character
Also, "I have no monetary stake in the death of an orangutan" has got to be the best defense against an accusation of murder ever.
Ah yes, the wonderful convention of Victorian novels: if someone is coughing, they'll be dead by the end!! :P
Similar to 2020
Chekov's cough.
Haunt these halls no more.
This is amazing its inspired me to do my own
Cause of death: that dress. I mean, ugh.
High five.
lol
Is there anything better than Lauren Lopez?
No.
NOPE
Most definitely not.
nope
No..
"Soup is for drinking and throwing on the ground as you demand REAL food."
Ernest, omgsh.
Also Oscar is killing me.
saaaaaaaaaaame he's my favorite so far
his laughs and mannerisms are the best hahaha
"I taught myself CPR. Got top marks too." LOL Bronte is priceless
I wish I understood all the references I didn't get.
to the library!
I've learnt so much just from reading wikipedia pages!! (also i love that it has so many layers)
Same! I never had so many cultural barriers to a form of media before. It's a weird feeling. I have a lot to catch up with.
There are much much better references than wiki pages!!! These are classic authors!!! Read some of their works!!!! You would understand why Lenore, his devotion to the Annabelle and many more!
Mary Gettelfinger They’re not exactly easy reads though...
I am just going to assume at this point that it's Emily Dickenson since everyone is ignoring her anyway.
Tis the perfect alibi and motive...
Can someone explain to me the ignoring poor Emily? Missing that joke. Loving this series!
well, not only was emily dickinson a recluse in real life, I think they're playing off her "I'm nobody, who are you?" poem.
deryn joy That was my original thought as well.
ah got it! thanks for clarifying!
"When I have something to say, I say it. When I don't, I stop typing!"
omg dying! This is so, so well written! I love it!
Poe's little smirk after Hemingway chides him for making Eddie an orangutan gets me every time
Hmm... Lauren is playing a girl pretending to be a guy. So she's playing herself?
She always seems to end up in a mustache at some point :)xx
She's the dude playing a dude disguised as another dude!
Emma Blackburn "My mustache! You ripped it off!"
Emma Blackburn that's so true
"I swear by the completely natural mustache on my face..." hahaha!
“Oh. Were- Were we supposed to do that as well?”
**puts face in soup**
HES TOO PRECIOUS
I lost it at Eddie's character card.
So did Oscar
Orangutan? In murder mystery party? What has this creature got to do?
This Ernest Hemingway is the adult I aspire to be
Please do not
Indirectly to become an office asshole(ted)?
"He tasted the soup! It's a clue! Oh how fun." George Eliot is me watching this show.
Well things are getting better for Emily, at least there was a picture of her when the place cards were put on the table!
Mmmm perhaps that will be a running joke and by the end there's actually a picture of Sarah
+Daniela Chamorro I do hope so, poor Emily.
SUSPICIOUS COUGHING.
Also, 10 points to Dostoevsky
They don't all secretly have tuberculosis do they?
Or pneumonia?
I mean, Poe did say he failed his house inspection...
Nope. Just natural syphillis death.
The soup is a red herring!
Genius ;)
HAH the part I keep laughing at is "he did taste it, OH HOW FUN THATS A CLUE!!"
“Also my house hasn’t passed an inspection in years, and I do not need that kind of heat right now.”
the girl who plays mary shelley is so gorgeous!
she meant whitney avalon, but they both are!
And she has an amazing singing voice
Lenore and Oscar Wilde high fiving over burning Louisa May 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
This is even more delightfully hilarious than the first chapter. If this trend continues, Halloween's episode will probably cause the universe to explode with laughter and fabulousness. One important question though: Does Ashley Clements only agree to work with Mary Kate Wiles if she gets to insult her?
Yes that is my condition
I knew it! LBD, Spore, Muzzled, and now Poe Party...it couldn't be coincidence
Nine little sailor boys stayed up late one overslept and then there were eight
Two chapters in and I already want bloopers :')
I love the high Five between Lenore and Oscar :D
Possible spoilers: Blaming Agatha Christie. "And Then There Were None" with a fun little twist. We'll see.
Oohhh, that's a good point!
i actually think Agatha might be a red herring! She's known for knowing her way around poison and locked room mysteries.... and maybe that's what they want us to think...
+Wendy Weber Céspedes Goddammit, that's another good point!
Ooh, "And Then There Were None" is one of my favourites! It freaked me out a little though, so much more than any of her other stories! :O
Ooooh!!!
So here are my observations thus far:
- During the opening credits, everyone's nametag is placed ON the table, with the exception of Emily Dickinson's whose nametag is taken OFF. Coincidence? Or something more? Is she killing them all off because they all hate or ignore her? Hmmmm...
- Eddie: Seated immediately to Dotoevsky's right. Louisa May: Seated immediately to his left. Coincidence? I'm guessing it is. I suspect suspicions will fall on him next, because of this, but then... so long Dostoevsky.
- Agatha Christy. Murder mystery author: Missing. How... convenient?
But all that said... Poe doesn't seem to have many actual friends. What if he invited them all there to kill them all off? All his rivals, in professional or personal capacity? All except Annabel Lee, of course, though if he thinks she will choose him when everyone is dead and he is the greatest writer left standing... he really has another think coming.
Of course, all my theories could be total hooey, and my observations meaningless, too. We'll see!
I'm a total Lenore fangirl
me too so much haha
I'm watching it again while I'm on break at work and I can't get over how amazing this is. I have backed much bigger projects with semi famous actors on KS and they haven't been this put together. You all should be so proud of yourselves. I'm still gushing over the costumes and I'm so impressed with the writing. You are all so talented. I certainly hope this brings you much more success. I'm looking forward to part 3 so much.
Part 3 is my favorite so far...get pumped.
i love how they all assumed it’s a murder when easily it could have been a heart attack, or any other natural cause.
“Especially you, Raskolnikov”
The reference! I am dying laughing
Whyyyy are they so short???After H.G.Wells dropped his face in his soup, I have no favorite lines! They were all hilarious, I just can't choose. Love it!
Well, I'm an idiot. I thought Lauren was just playing a dude again to be funny, I had no idea George Eliot was a pen name for a woman... Teach me all the things Shipwrecked!
The episode titles are wonderful! Everyone rings the doorbell= the bells, tomato soup on Eddie's face= red death, I wonder what comes next.
I think one might be "To science." Maybe if HG takes the lead.
Engima, Loss of Breath or the Haunted Palace are good titles.
+Kelleen BRX Oh yeah, those are good titles. To Science would be great!
his home hasn't been inspected in years, so maybe "the fall of the house of [poe]"?
Oh yes, that's great! I really want the Cask of Amantillado to be one, Lenore talked about that wine cellar in Tell Tale Vlog so much
+kleffnotes They're both Poe titles so I imagine they'll continue to be so.
Shipwrecked is back and Mondays have something good about them again.
George Eliot trying too hard to be a man is then funniest thing *ever*
But also it’s Lauren Lopez so of course it’s funny.
lauren trying not to break at 5:17 is HILARIOUS
these aren't nearly long enough, I want more murder mystery! I LOVE IT
This show is to die for!
Pun intended
"A grave and sinister act has been committed here this evening!"
"yeah...Louisa May's dress"
Bahahahaha I lost it at that part! And then the high five with Oscar lol
#PoorEmily
Don't kill Oscar!! Please, for the love of God! Don't kill Oscarrrrr
“...Who could’ve murdered Eddy, and Emily Dickinson.” “I’m right here.” “Just leave my soup out of it.” 😂 my fav line
Joey's girlfriend pretending to not want him to touch her face.
Wait are they dating??
Daniela Chamorro Yeah, since the summer of 2014.
+Erica Soto somehow I completely missed this!
That explains the great chemistry between George and Ernest
Has that actually been confirmed anywhere? Because as far as I know the Starkid team doesn't really talk about their personal life...
And one by one dropped the revelers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall.
Love how Agatha Christie did go missing irl that time and she‘s missing here
This was great. I don't think anything else on CZcams has recaptured that level of delight since Lizzie Bennet...
"My house hasnt passed an inspection in years" maybe they died because of the bad air?
This series is so good! I am already super hooked. I also really love how the the titles of each chapter is a different Poe literature title. Also do you know how many chapters there will be in the end? Simply curious. Can't wait for the next upload!!
Eleven in total! The finale will air on Halloween.
There will be eleven chapters altogether!
So far people Lenore makes fun of get killed.
Eddie got a LOSER sign.
Louisa May's dress was insulted...
Who will be the next?
OMG it's amazing so far! Also, I love Charlotte Bronte, she's hilarious.
Love this so far! The literary references are great fun and are inserted nicely into the dialog.
Mary Shelley is my favorite so far. Her haughtiness really speaks to me. :')
Joey Graceffa is quaking
Annabel: I dont think he's breathing!
Edgar: *delighted* really?
"Haunt these halls no more" ~ that one took me out LOL
Oh god I'm shipping Elmingway...
Yeah, same! Poor Mary Ann if she falls for him. He seems to be such a womanizer !!
2:44 the half-moustache smile killed me
Seeing you in the comments killed me!
Another death to the crazed villain in Poe's house!
+Isla-Grace Davies oh no why? :D
"I don't think he's breathing!"
"Wait, really?"
*IM CACKLING*
Eliot & Dostoevsky are both cracking me up so bad oh my gosh
Why didn't I know about this before? I needed this in my life.
I wish my skin was as smooth as George Eliot. Love this episode.
"No use crying over spilled milk"
Tin Can Brothers, love it =D
Edgar's laugh at 2 mins 35 seconds is everything!! 😅😅😅
“I swear by the completely natural mustache on my face...” is my new favorite thing to start conversations with.
Shipwrecked is always my favorite thing to watch when I'm feeling down. Y'all are amazing.
Aha! Dantes and Dostoevskij prison buddies! And Charlotte Bronte shouting "Raskol'nikov" to his face! Aha! The literary nerd in me is sooo happy!
I'm getting so into this! So sad, Louisa May was my favourite character already....Whitney Avalon is incredible though!
what did mary shelley want to say before the lights went out? I am sure it was important and now we will never find out
Waaah Ernest and George. Hahahahaha Joey and Lauren ❤❤❤
Looks like Agatha's gonna have to Hercule Poirot this shit. Great stuff, people. Enjoying immensly.
I love Fyodor, He's so sweet
This is why I wake up in the morning.
I love how the murders are in Edgar Allen Poes house - since he is known for his horror storys! This is great irony!
Lenore and Dostoevsky are bae.
well there goes my theory of them killing off characters and not real people
This is a FANTASTIC series! Love it!
Soooo good! Loving Poe Party so far ♡
My favorite so far is all the jokes about Lauren playing George Elliot
I am totally not constantly staring at lauren Lopez cos she is so talented
Could it be Bronte? She doesn't want anyone to leave, so she can kill them all! And get all their book sales!
I'm loving this more and more! I feel like it's gonna be Emily Dickenson, Agatha Christie, or Lenore (you never know)!
This just keeps getting better.
My fav is when someone says a Clever Writer Thing and they all wink at each other
OH, boy! The long awaited sequel to CLUE! :/ Looks pretty snazzy though.
woah! people are dropping like flies, who did it?!? I can't wait for behind the scenes/bloopers. I laughed when Lauren got really close to sinead's face lol
I love it! Every character gets their own spotlight and that makes literature papers on characterisation much easier!
so inspired to read the classics again, i love the good work you do
That eye-roll though. Lenore for Sassy White House Ghost President.
I ship Hemingway and Elliot now
I still want to know what Shelly had to say...
This keeps getting better with each episode! Absolutely hysterical
One thing I'm really scared of is if they are killed in the order of which they were introduced in the intro, because I need more time for Elmingway!
The king of cups expects a picnic...but this is not his birthday!
