Lauren Lopez is the gift that keeps on giving.
Lauren is the real Jesus
Lauren Lopez? More like Godren Gopez
+
she is a blessing on earth
YYYAAAAAASSSSSSS!!!! Fiebriger reference
"love that dress" I love Lauren Lopez.
Agreed!
"Or a woman!" "That I am a woman.... izer!" Couldn't stop laughing
"Hey it's a real shame about those dead people"
I'M CRYING
anyone else think Mary Shelley's dress is absolutely gorgeous??
yes me
me too!
but can we talk about her contour?
Yes!
Yoos
"IT'S ALIIIVE. That's what I would have said if she was. But she's dead." Ok, I love this Oscar Wilde almost as much as the original one, and this is as high a praise as I can possibly give someone. This actor is trully amazing.
"I was half-expecting to already find some dead bodies down here."
"That's absurd. [low voice] At this temperature?"
Best episode yet!! Some truly hilarious lines and the plot thickens. This series is giving me a great reason to look forward to Mondays.
you’re absurd
@@wokeupnew I was literally just about to comment this but u beat me to it!
I just want Agatha Christie to appear in the last episode solve the mystery and then leave
YES LMAO
+
+
+
I am expecting that too
"Well someone had that ready to go..."
"I'm just really good at eulogies!"
I died
Genie Hossain So did Louisa.
Oop
I'm trying so hard not to get attached to characters because just like game of thrones they'll be dead real soon
Same
I don't avoid it, I let myself get attached and I let myself feel pain when they die
*e t h a n*
Me with Ernest-
"who do you think we are, the Austens?" DYING.
I've been looking forward to this line since hearing it in a trailer. Fantastic Lizzie Bennet Diary reference.
+
I laughed way too hard at that line
Alaina Arner Watching this at a time when my life is centered around Jane Austen🙃🤷♀️
*cough* Pride and Prejudice *cough*
"Who's the best writer?"
*everyone raises their hand*
"You, goggles."
Every one looks ashamed to be losing to Wells. Could be a motive.....😏😶
Hemingway: "I suggest we split up."
Me: "Wow, that's the worst idea you've ever had, and 'The Old Man and the Sea' is one of the only books in the world that I hate, so that's saying something."
Sadly I can only like this comment once.
I know what you mean. I had to read that book for school.
"i'm just really good at eulogies" 😂😂😂
A full murder board in 2.5 seconds H.G., someone certainly likes crafting.
He needs to be on Mary Kate's Craftversations!!!!
+
He has been now 😄
Ed Eddle.
Ded Deddle
Edgrim... That's French.
Was about to say that Lauren Lopez is my fave as George Eliot but Joey Richter is SO GOOD as Ernest Hemingway...and Ashley and Mary Kate and Sean are perfect....honestly, how did you assemble such an amazing cast? Can't wait for the next ep! x
who here is the best writer *everyone raises hands.
i lold so hard
HG Wells was chosen. If Lenore wasn't already dead, they all have a motive to kill her.
I COULDN"T STOP LAUGHING FOR OVER A MINUTE. I HAD TO HIT PAUSE.
+
+
+
Ernest is reminding me of...
*swipes two fingers across eye*
The Bandit King
Joey eating his cigarette tho xD
im actually kinda sad that this is a murder mystery because that means people leave. everyone is super great in this and im loving it!
Seriously I wish Mary Shelley had had more time 😭
Split up?! Every horror movie in existence proves that's a dumb idea! Go home Ernest, you're drunk--ohhhhh....right..
"WHO HERE IS THE BEST WRITER?" Everyone putting their hands up is the laugh-out-loud-lots-very-loudly funniest things I've seen this year (and I've watched all of Shakespeare's comedies this year).
"Love your dress" "Woman--womanizer" LAUREN!!!!!!!
2:24 ‘... i love that dress.’
‘ *HOW COULD YOU* ! ... thank you’
gets me every time
Every time Lauren is shown at all on camera, she makes me laugh out loud
“Who here is the best writer?” *all authors raise their hands*
I can't stop laughing! "Ok so, hella motive." HA!
Okay, y'all, the plot doth thicken.
did..did...joey eat that cigarette at the end?
"LensCrafters, what's the consensus?"
I laughed WAY too hard
Possible spoilers:
"And Then There Were None" verses used thus far (continuation of last week's comment and discussion):
1. Four little Soldier Boys going out to sea; a red herring swallowed one and then there were three. (Dantes, the soup)
2. Nine little Soldier Boys sat up very late; one overslept himself and then there were eight. (Alcott, near-perfect match with the poisoned drink in the book)
3. Six little Soldier Boys playing with a hive; a bumblebee stung one and then there were five. (Shelley, "sting" from the electrical shock)
Thank you for compiling this! I knew there had to be some Agatha going on!
I agree with your thoughts on Dantes coinciding with Four Little Indians, but I disagree with the other two.
Alcott is more likely "Ten Little Soldiers" (Ten little Indians went out to dine; One choked his little self and then there were nine.) as the first victim in the book dies from a poisoned drink.
Shelly is more likely "Two Little Soldiers" (Two little Indians playing in the sun; One got all frizzled up and then there was one) as I think of frizzling up fits more with electricity.
However, if Christie is the killer or someone's modeling this after Christie, they're going to have to have multiple people die to a single verse of the song. 12 people (plus Christie herself) are present, however, only ten were invited in "And Then There Were None" (However, an 11th, Isaac Morris, was killed by Wargrave before the start of the book by poisoned pills)
It also appears that the beginning of the verse doesn't matter as much as the murder method listed in the second half.
Murder methods left al la "And then there were none"
-Nine little Indians: One overslept himself (Poisoning)
-Eight little Indians: One said he'd stay there (bludgeoned)
-Seven little Indians: One chopped himself in half (bludgeoned/stabbed)
-Six little Indians: A bumblebee stung one (needle)
-Five little Indians: One got in Chancery (possibly will be a gunshot like in the book)
-Three little Indians: A big bear hugged one (crushed?)
One little Indian: He went out and hanged himself
+ the aforementioned but unlikely murder of Isaac Moris w/ poisoned pills.
Or it could be in reference to Shelley's and Alcott's works. Frankenstein relied on lightening and electricity to give life to his monster and (I forgot which) one of the little women died of an illness
ahhh! i just commented that this was And Then There Were None and Agatha would show up at the end and be the murderer, then i scrolled down and saw this and this is perfect! I hadn't even thought about it in that level of detail, brava! XD
Until they revealed his named was Eduardo and not Edmond, I was leaning towards a whole Count of Monte Cristo revenge scheme from Eddie.
Hmm
Bronte has some suspicion now too since she lead Shelly to her death by reminding her not to go down the hallway but instead to go the other way.
I LOVE EMILY DICKINSON'S NEW OPENING SHOT
Do they change it so we can look for her? Otherwise we might not notice her?
+Kelleen BRX well since we saw her in the first episode, I assume it's just a running joke.
I'm just praying that George Elliot sticks around for a little while longer cuz Lauren Lopez is a national treasure
So they pretty much all had a motive for killing Eddie. The question is: who had a motive for killing Louisa May Alcott?
The same as for Mary Shelly... she was trying to leave, that's all. The thing that started the whole thing was Eddie's Murder ( That's what it looks like at least, we don't know how it is going to turn out)
Louisa May Alcott started coughing well before she tried to leave, and I was assuming the coughing was related to her cause of death, but of course we don't actually know that that's the case
I'm starting to think Eddie is the killer and Bronte or Dickenson are helping him out (Dickenson disappears during Shelley's motive rant). Edmond Dantes plus Twelve Little Indians where one of the first deaths was faked to throw off the trail.
or no one´s really dead, Lenore just set up a prank with all the guests to freak Poe out
i love this idea so much!
Nothing ever comes from saying 'we should split up'....
NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY!
Also, NO NOT MARY! She was my favourite...
I know! I was sad... But not too sad because this is hilarious!
I know!! She was my favorite too. :(
mine too she is so hot
Love Lenore's look as Edgar thinks of Ed-names
He should bring ed sheeran to the list
no, don't split up that's how people die!!!
+
3 Died when they were all together.
but that'd be faulty reasoning, it don't mean more won't die if they don't stick together
Wendy Weber Céspedes If they don't follow the pattern of 1 dying per episode (except some conditional moments towards the end as there probably would be) it's not gonna be because they split up, it's because it's the natural progression of the story they made.
+
I already want a second season...
me too!
Rachel Watkins +
Also- Sean Persaud & Sinead Persaud you have created a most excellent work of art here!
Thank you!
Aw shucks thank you!! Happy you're enjoying it :)
"Seems like that whole 'innocent' thing might be an act! (I love that dress)" I cannot get over this character oh my gosh
help, i'm a little in love with H.G. Wells?? also this writing is so good and the characters + actors are brilliant. SO happy with all of this
Meggie We all are.
Meggie I am too, I'm starting to love HG Wells but I ship him with Lenore
Dostoyevsky dropping the body is one of my favorite moments. :D
Oscar Wilde essentially brought the concept of the 'friendzone' into existence: that is the true crime being committed here, people
I love this series so much, George Eliot better not be killed off though (at least not any time soon)
Definitely not
I do love him, he's so manly. And he's been coping well with the complete lack of sporting, beer and talking about sporting.
Would death be like sporting? What are extreme sports but skirmishes with death?
Sarah Gent I
Making me legitimately burst out laughing while I'm not around people is a very tough task... and this episode did that at least five times. Such excellent writing and acting and everything else, guys. I'm so excited for more.
Poe: Gentlemen, help me with the body.
Oscar: *flounces away*
Oh the opening credits cut out whoever's 'dead'. Nice!
That Austen joke made me snicker considering Ashley's past work!
Mrs. Shelley's demise was suitably shocking...
The shot of Emily behind a shoulder in the titles killed me!
bahaha h.g wells with a full board of the suspects. this is too good.
The way Oscar Wilde acts when the others are carrying the body is the ultimate: "I'm too aesthetic for this"
Oscar Wilde...The best...xD
"I suggest we split up"....because that always ends well.
"lord byron and his mistress" funf act! that mistress was claire, mary's step sister!
Oscar Wilde is slaying. Every comment gets me!
I love that dress also. Oh Lauren, you are amazing. I'm always distracted when Sinead is in the scene, she does the best expressions. You never split up.
All of Joey’s facials when suspicion occurs are incredible
And he started hitting other people's wife or lover ( ted he is?
Omg I love this so much. And I have to say that Emily Dickinson seems fishy in my book... She doesn't seem to be on the best terms with these people.
I agree. She's been high on my list of suspects since the beginning. Of course, that could just be what they want us to think. :)
Who? There's an Emily Dickinson?
On my second watch of this, i am suspicious of George Eliot. I noted a lot in this episode that there were many frames where he would suddenly appear and disappear from the group shot
Katie Meyers I suspect Wells through and through
Who's Emily Dickinson lol. I can't find her.
George Elliott slipped out right before the note was stabbed into the apple. suspect?
*Eliot
shoot, literally everyone is a suspect
Nah Lauren Lopez is just tiny and is blocked in a really awkward spot in a lot of the shots 😂 also the little interjections that she makes are even funnier when she squeezes between someone and then shrinks away.
Ya,almost like draco malfoy
I was half expecting to find dead bodies down here already.
That's absurd.
You're absurd!
I love how he never mentions Edmond as a long form of Eddie.
"My true identity as a woman...izer" I was waiting for that and it was perfect
I can see why George Eliot couldn't keep it in. I love that dress too! I must know where they got it! 😍😍😍
I'm in love with Shelley and Eliot and Bronte and Wells and Wilde...just everybody!!
This is so good!!
"I think we can all agree that the most innocent person here is the beautiful and innocent Annabel Lee and also she's the most beautiful--" top tier delivery
Can we just appreciate Lenore? She’s a gift
"Who do you think we are the Austen's?"
As she plays Lizzie Bennet
"one of you is probably going to jail."
The blocking of those group shots and everyone's character consistency in them are superb A++
I'm kinda sad Mary Shelley died, I really liked her :D Anyway, amazing episode as always, can't wait for the next one! :)
Is the handkerchief thing a Murder on the Orient Express reference? I've been studying Othello so I thought of that first. Anyway, Wells is so cute I hope he's not a murderer. Also the Eduardo/Eddie bit was some comedy gold.
"Where'd you get those pictures?" "Instagram, why?"
Where's the fun in staying together? It's splitzies time!
Well. That was electrifying
I laughed so hard at "WOMAN...izer. Y'know, a lady killer." XD Absolutely inspired!
IT'S ALIVE hahahah i died of laughter OMG
everyone turns to look at poe!
3:51 ‘ *its true!* ... i think.’
lauren you are a blessing to this world
4:31 ‘or woman’ ... awkwardly slides away
Everyone is so well cast! "The Austen's" I knew it was coming and I still lold-especially as the other side was shown and MK is not really laughing!! The second row of characters in certain scenes makes it difficult to keep track of who is on and off screen, well played! "Hella motive" haha Thanks for a great episode!
This was the best episode yet! You guys have made something brilliant!
Agree!
+
I am late to the Poe party but I am so intrigued by this series! More please!
This is so amazing! I still can't decide on a favorite character because they're all just hilarious and on point and overall amazingly written and performed! It's currently a tie between George Eliot (Gosh, Lauren is amazing!) and Wells... and Poe and Hemmingway and... it's just impossible to pick one, great job, you guys! :)
Rewstching Poe Party since it came out and I just got Oscar Wilde's reference to Lady Windmere's Fan!!! There are so many hidden things and ugh this series is brilliant. Even two years later I still love it
Is Whitney Avalon the bomb, or WHAT?
"Well someone had that ready to go"
"Im just really good at eulogies" lmaooo
Lauren was brilliant in this episode!
the running gag with emily's card is killing me
I've examined the rungs of every chair in Poe's dining room, and, indeed, the jointings of every description of furniture, by the aid of a most powerful microscope. Alas, the answers continue to elude me.
"Lenscrafters, what's the consensus?" I DIE.
"I suggest we split up" famous last words
This cast is amazing. That is 3 murders if there is one every week there will be no cast left....
So many genius moments in this episode: "Who's the best writer?"
The fact that H.G. Wells gets his own background music is just wonderful.
I'm loving this series. Are there plans to release a DVD? Because I would buy it.
please please please! *fingers crossed*
"Who do you think we are, the Austens"
"Who do you think we are the Austen's?" LBD reference and I'm living for it!
