As always thank you both for having me on your platform. Great conversation to bridge the gap on the miseducation of the male ego.💪🏾

This! Men ego is so fragile and I for one am tired of tip toeing around them. So threatened over what? If a man is so secure why would they care if we want to ‘be men’ or ‘we pretending to be men’

As a hyper femme looking woman, raised in rigid gender roles, I both witnessed & was Pavlov-ed to coddle men as a survival mechanism when needed. In some cases I used to call coddling “stroking their ego.” Used on authority figures, the person dictating payroll, & finessing my way out of being assaulted because my voice doesn’t get taken seriously when all they see is the illusion of “the Monroe effect.” In pursuit of having conscious control over how I would like to respond rather than react, I’ve noticed I’ve had to be more creative in curving unwanted scenarios without feeling repulsed after. I think everyone’s proximity to the patriarchy is dependent on how the majority of the public perceives you- which is really just playing chess with illusions, insecurities, projections, & ignorance. Dancing with someone else’s ego is a sport I wish all that are meek masters at some point.

Some of the best rappers are looked over for being masculine presenting and I hate that. It’s crazy to me that Siya isn’t bigger.

Say it again! The fact that we are being reduced to what we do in the bedroom! 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Because that really should be nobody’s business Frfr. This is an understatement! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯💯💯💕💕💕

This is a conversation that needs to continue on this podcast in series of itself. Black culture has an ingrained homophobia that even a genuine nice person can come off sounding like a bigot. In regards to the music biz, I think most artist should just go independent and then you won’t have to deal with culture vultures molding you.

This! That’s why when I say this, I say it with no apologies. I don’t try to go in black spaces anymore. White ppl accept me with open arms

Patriarchy then done a number on the male population they really think their superior to the woman, but their not!
Actually it seems their thee most unbalanced. They really gotta learn to operate out of both energies and that’s what scares them about the dominant females and the feminine females that won’t “ submit”. Great show yall ❤

As a older lesbian I have encountered it all. Having worked in a male industry. I educated them in certain things. Specifically how to respect me in how I present myself. I gave them opportunity to respectfully ask me questions. Point being. I'm me. If you're my friend I will protect you male or female. Plus they constantly ask me advice about women. Some problems in society today is that men are not allowed to experience their emotional soft side. In reality all people have the male and female in their spirit. Speak to the individual. If you follow me.

Society coddles men in general. I’m Gen X and I think if you’d ask any person in my generation who is coddled more Black men or Black women, I think the overwhelming response would be Black men.
When the young man on the panel said, who do you think of when someone says “doctor,” I chuckled. An image of a Black woman would come to my mind wayyyy before an image of a Black man.
It’s interesting how Black men seem to be in favor of gender norms that favor men, but would have a fit if the conversation was shifted to race.
Lastly, of the three people on the panel if someone were to ask who is the smartest, I don’t think many would select the young man after listening to this conversation.
I’m in no way trying to bash the young man on the panel, but I do notice that men who cling tightly to “traditional” gender roles happen to be the most insecure.

Yeah, Dabrat Carried a Baby for her Wife Judy. If it wasn't for her to be Married to Judy, she would of never had a Baby. She said one time before she ended up with Judy that she did not want no kids, she only would be a Auntie, and a God Mother, but now look at what God 🙏 Blessed her with. Sometimes God send people I'm your life that will give you those Blessings. Dabrat First told Judy to Carry the Baby, and Judy told her that she Should Carry the Baby so that she can Experience to know what it Feels like to Carry the Baby, Which made Sense. Judy already has 2 kids of her Own from a Previous Relationship. I Love them both❤❤❤❤

@19:57 this is really a new and needed POV that I’ve never heard before. A tom boy is generally going to be athletic. Athletes are generally strong and fast. So why is it surprising to see a tom boy/woman with good posture, nice style, etc.? Its earned through results and work ethic. Theres nothing cute about being in or for the streets. But both book and street smarts are a must. They can be used to improve your style, develop healthier eating habits, and go from surviving to thriving 🎯

I would be interested in a podcast about Toxically masculine women. As a lesbian in my 50's , I realize I have had an aversion to even having studs as friends because the ones I have known behave as bad as men, and I am not talking about infidelity, To me a "toxically" masculine woman is more awful than a man.
